I don't understand why there are good reviews. This is the moldiest place where I had to leave windows open 24/7 in order to have some decent air, and the walls are the thinnest possible. You will be woken up from your neighbor walking up their own stairs.

may God bless you donot have a neighbor who like to cook super stinky and pungent food. The apartment is old (maybe around 70 years old). So there is a bad venting system. Every time when my neighbor tries to cook some pungent food I can smell it from my apt and the odour will hang over my apt for hours. It is super upset and disgusting. We won’t continue to stay here. Btw it is a ok price for Ithaca living because it is spacious but it has limited parking space, old building, low price appliances, kind of weird management, and poor public transportation ( I think we only have route 11 or 9). So, it will be ok for temporary living but for the whole college life I would not recommend it.

I just moved into Ithaca this fall. My experience with the apartments has been greet. The office has been super helpful and accommodating, for example, when I didn’t fill out, they form for furniture prior to moving in they were still able to help me out and get the place furnished. I really enjoy the quiet community although it is a bit farther from the Cornell campus where I study. The apartments have a nice river/creek on one side and a neighborhood park on the other, awesome bonus!

The GrandView apartment was great, spacious and for a reasonable price in Ithaca! The support from the leasing office is incredible! Everyone there is friendly and always willing to put the effort into helping out the tenants with any issue. Lots of students live in these apartments, and as such, repairs are common, but the repairmen are always available and respond very quickly! Overall, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live in. Parking can be limited at times, but usually not too much of an issue, expect when the city's snow plower needs to clean the driveways. I would recommend that you find a unit with a garage! The extra storage and secured parking spot eliminates that headache of cleaning your car after a snow storm and finding parking in the evenings once everyone is back from classes and work.

I loved my apartment there as they are very spacious for their price. The distance from downtown is also very convenient. Overall it is a fair price to live there for the area but they are very incompetent with managing their properties. The maintenance folks were surprisingly rude in my experiences with them. On top of this their online Resident Portal lacks a lot of pertinent information. Parking in atrocious and they barely salt or plow paths in the winter.
