Gateway at Huntsville, huntsville-tx

I’ve been here for 3 years in a studio and overall i’ve enjoyed my time here. As for the studio, Bedroom, Livingroom, and Kitchen is perfect for one person. Could fit 5 guest comfortably. Appliances such as Fridge, Stove and Dishwasher, All decent, never used the dishwasher, oven is tricky to use, fridge just make sure to clean it good before use. Don’t really like the Bathroom, does have molding issues from previous renters and a lot of rusted parts like the air vent, not my favorite. Wifi has been great for me. Washer and dryer work great. I opted out for furniture so I can’t say much about the furniture. Closet is a good size has sliding doors that are mirrors. I drive to campus so I can’t say much about the shuttle. I personally think we have one of the best pools. Amenities are great, gym decent size, tanning bed and study rooms. I recommend buying the parking for $20, just make sure your pass is visible cause they will tow, trust me.

Genuinely this apt complex needs to fix some major things 1. Apt is a mess when I moved in like trash in flour I had to sweep up . 2. My apt was infested with German cockroaches 3. They say there’s $50 electricity package but some how in my studio apt I go over it ? When I’m basically never home 4. In my studio apt I believe the router worked but I’ve called the office and was told “ ya we don’t advertise wifi or Ethernet (just found out I don’t even have an access point in my apt complex which is the reason my wifi cuts in and out multiple times in a day and is a hassle having to call the internet company to fix my wifi) 5. Please please fix the gym amenity’s there’s a broken bench that’s still in there being held up by weights 6. Fair warning walls here are THINNNN I really am trying to like this apt complex though but the wifi is a huge major problem here that needs to be fixed

gateway is awesome! the staff is super friendly and are always helping us out asap! the rooms are a good size with a big closet. i live in a 4 bedroom and there is plenty of space!

It’s okay. Like other reviews said, you kind of get what you pay for, but it’s a pretty decent space. My main issue has been wifi and some cleanliness issues as soon as I moved in- giant stains on the carpet, mold, torn/ripping furniture, just stuff like that but nothing is the end of the world. However, recently my roomates and I have been having a lot of wifi issues. With Gateway boasting about its shuttle to SHSU and how perfect it is for students, you’d think that reliable wifi would be a major concern or goal, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I understand wifi is through an outside provider, but when there is frequently issues it seems like maybe the apartment should make a decision to switch providers or do something about it. The property staff is always very friendly through, so that’s cool I guess.

This place is the worst. We were told it had been cleaned. It was not. It was filthy. Rented a studio ~700 sq ft. It took 5 of us, 6 hours to clean enough to get it livable for my son. Nasty is the only word that comes to mind. Transport was unavailable, broken down every other day. WiFi was weak at best. Now we are getting charged back for a ratty chair that we never, NEVER used. I would look elsewhere before you sign anything here. The black in the air ducts is the mold growing. The bath sink was clogged and WE pulled all this crap out just to get the water to go down. The growing mold is in the kitchen. I literally cried leaving my son here. Proof is in the photos.
