The Jolly Roger, greenville-nc

BEFORE MOVING TO THE JOLLY READ THIS!!! Do not let the jolly fool you it will be the worst living experience in Greenville. I have lived here for the past three years and it has gotten worse every single year. Im including picture proof below. The ONLY reason I did not move was the hassle of moving several times since I was graduating early as well as them promising cheaper rent each year you resign which never happened. A few things to know before living here; the trash chutes are almost ALWAYS locked and or the trash rooms are full of garbage and coming from someone who lives right next to it the smell is nauseating. The parking deck gates are always broken as well and my neighbors car has literally been stolen out of the parking deck by a sex offender. The elevators will randomly break and you don’t have to scan your key fob to get up them anymore which is dangerous as random people are able to come in the building. Maintenance “fixes” problems by short term resolving them for example when it rained it leaked into the walls and went down near the outlets in the hallway and all the did was put spackle on top of it. The pool chairs at one point were ALL broken and we had to lay in the concrete and for a building that makes millions a year off of students and their parents you would think they would be able to afford new ones. The office staff is never prepared to answer your questions in full either if you have a question more complicated than what time the pool opens prepare to be hit with an unsure answer. There are 100% better living options other than the jolly don’t let them get you with being the only rooftop pool or a good promotion of a gift card when you sign that day. A majority of the reviews left are by people who have TOURED NOT THAT LIVE HERE. In response to the reply: the picture of the parking deck gate being broken is not the only one I have I have several pictures from BEFORE the winter storm when it was broken this is a constant issue. In response to the trash issue as well these are different pictures from different months over the years of living here not a onetime problem if you’d like I can attach the pictures WITH dates to show you how this has BEEN a problem you guys have always had.

My daughter decided to live at the Jolly Roger next year and we signed the lease, but my husband and I hadn't seen the property in person yet. Faisal A. (Adam) the Assistant Property Manager was a delight. He gave us a thorough tour and fully explained everything. We now feel very comfortable with her decision and look forward to her moving in in August.

Jen was incredibly helpful throughout my apartment search. She was knowledgeable, informative, and always willing to answer questions and provide guidance. Her insight made the process much easier and less stressful, and I truly appreciated her patience and support. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance finding the right apartment.

Lillian Wood was absolutely amazing in helping me replace my key fob at TJR! she made the whole process quick, easy, and stress-free. She was incredibly kind, patient, and went out of her way to make sure everything worked perfectly before I left.
