Good enough place but management will not do anything about roommates stealing food, laundry detergent, not cleaning up their own messes. Both me and my roommate complained and have complained for months and nothing has been done. Clearly management does not care and is willing to rent to anyone.

I’ve had a great experience working with Darrieon as a leasing manager. He’s always professional, approachable, and genuinely cares about helping residents find the right fit for their needs. He communicates clearly, follows up quickly, and goes above and beyond to make the leasing process smooth and stress-free. You can tell he takes pride in creating a positive community environment and making sure residents feel valued. Highly recommend working with him!

Although I consistently paid my rent and frequently paid well above my base rent, my account accumulated a balance due to how fees and utilities were applied — not due to nonpayment of rent. Late fees were assessed automatically based on posting timing rather than confirmed late submission. Under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 42-46, late fees may only be charged after the grace period and must be assessed strictly in accordance with lease terms. The repeated stacking of late fees due to administrative timing and payment application raises legitimate concerns and warranted a late-fee audit, which was requested but not granted. After my roommate moved out, I was informed that I was charged full utility usage because I was the only remaining resident. However, my lease specifies utilities are divided on a per-person basis, and utilities are reportedly submetered at the building or allocation level rather than individually metered per unit. Under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 62-110(h), tenants are entitled to transparent, itemized utility billing based on the stated methodology. Charges labeled as “utilities recovered” were applied without written explanation, meter data, or lease language authorizing a shift to full allocation. In addition to billing concerns, I experienced repeated maintenance and notice violations. Maintenance personnel entered my apartment without notice or an active work order, which is particularly concerning as a young female resident. North Carolina law requires landlords to provide reasonable notice before entering a dwelling except in emergencies. I was also required to vacate my apartment — including relocating myself and my dog — with only 24 hours’ notice so maintenance could work on a sink in an unoccupied bedroom, despite no imminent emergency and no incoming roommate for weeks. My unit also experienced serious habitability issues, including repeated appliance failures (dryer replaced twice), a toilet-related leak, and a flooding incident significant enough to require fire department water extraction. Under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 42-42, landlords are required to maintain plumbing and appliances in safe, working order and keep the premises fit and habitable. While one clear billing error — being charged pet rent twice in a single month — was eventually corrected, all other disputed charges were required to be paid without reconsideration or documentation, despite written requests for review. This selective correction, combined with billing opacity, unannounced entries, and repeated habitability issues, has created financial instability and safety concerns. My account ledger shows repeated billing errors that were acknowledged only in part. One clear mistake—being charged pet rent twice in a single month—was eventually corrected, confirming that billing errors did occur. However, all other disputed charges were ignored or refused review, including late fees assessed despite timely rent payments, which were triggered by internal posting delays rather than actual late submission, and repeatedly stacked without audit. Undocumented “utilities recovered” charges and a unilateral shift to full utility billing after my roommate moved out—despite the lease specifying per-person allocation—were also imposed without explanation, meter data, or lease authorization. I was required to pay these disputed charges in full without documentation, transparency, or reconsideration. For these reasons, I am urgently seeking to move out. I strongly encourage prospective residents to fully understand how utilities are calculated, how payments are applied, and how maintenance and entry policies are enforced before signing a lease.

Been living here for a whole year, when I first moved in staff was very helpful. They have 24/7 maintenance and are very efficient when it comes to your maintenance request. My toilet seat broke one morning and they came to fix it next day, Frank is awesome. ❤️ The office staff also works with you when it comes down to paying rent. Would honestly recommend to friends and family. Also ask if they have any specials!!

I do not recommend Campus Crossing Apartments in Greensboro. I have made multiple formal complaints regarding ongoing excessive noise from the unit above me, including late-night stomping that causes walls and floors to shake, as well as other disruptive and inappropriate late night noises. These issues have been persistent and has significantly impacted my ability to sleep and maintain a normal routine. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this through management, including direct communication with staff, there has been little to no response and no effective action taken. There is also no after-hours support for addressing disturbances, only for maintenance leaving residents without any way to report issues occurring at night. At this point, I have had to escalate this matter beyond the property due to lack of resolution. I would strongly advise future residents to consider how ongoing issues are handled before signing a lease.
