EXTREME HARASSMENT, VIOLENCE THREATS, AND DEPOSIT THEFT - STUDENTS BEWARE! I am writing this to warn every student at OSU: DO NOT MOVE HERE. This management operates more like a criminal gang than a professional leasing office. On my move-out day (the day my lease expired), I experienced a nightmare. Two grown men—one of whom was shirtless and physically aggressive—barged into my apartment. They intimidated me, a young female student, by screaming at my face every hour because I wasn't packing "fast enough." One man literally stood over me, yelling, "LOOK INTO MY EYES! LOOK INTO MY EYES! YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW! I AM CALLING THE POLICE TO KICK YOU OUT!" I was paralyzed with fear, feeling like I was about to be physically assaulted. To make matters worse, the female receptionist used this as an excuse to illegally withhold my ENTIRE security deposit. She claimed someone was moving in that very day and I "blocked" them, yet no one ever showed up, and I never received an itemized bill or proof of damages. This is blatant theft. The staff also has zero integrity. I once caught them literally EATING my food delivery that I hadn't picked up yet. When confronted, they had the audacity to lecture me for not coming down sooner. Look at their responses to other one-star reviews—they never admit fault, only offer excuses and gaslighting. I am using a pseudonym because I genuinely fear retaliation from these people. This isn't just about the money; it’s about safety and mental health. I am still traumatized by that violent encounter. ADVICE FOR OSU STUDENTS: If you have been cheated by them, go to the OSU Student Legal Services (SLS) immediately. It is FREE for students. Do not let these bullies get away with it. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN PEACE OF MIND.

In an email from management to tenants this week: Heather Posey 4:12PM Before all of you go and get more carried away than you already have what you all need to remember is this is a privately owned condominium building. This building is governed by the association board, the bylaws in the amendments that are in place in this privately owned condominium. The Board and Association can make any changes they want. They do not need to discuss this with any of the tenants in this building. This is not a dorm, not an apartment complex, Not a co-op. Student legal services has absolutely no bearing on what the owners of this condominium building and the Association Board chooses to do with this property. Free guest parking has been a courtesy, but it has never been a requirement. The Condo Board of this building are well within their rights to begin charging for guest parking and to make any other changes they see fit. Personally, I find it amusing reading your complaints when we see how disgusting some of you live, we see how dirty and nasty you keep your unit. We find your trash everywhere except where it belongs- in the dumpster. We see what you do on the security cameras when you think nobody is around to watch you cause damage and destruction to the building.

Incredibly unprofessional, the actions of those employed should make them feel embarassed. The front desk worker has no life and argues with tenants about unannounced price hikes in the groupme. Think about how pathetic this is and if you'd really want to live in a place employing someone that says, after briefly announcing a price hike, "Personally, I find it amusing reading your complaints when we see how disgusting...you live...how dirty and nasty you keep your unit." "We see what you do on the security cameras when you think nobody is around to watch you" (if this is the case, why bring it up now? if there was anything harmful they would've prosecuted already) "Student legal services has absolutely no bearing on what the owners of this condominium...do with this property" (sls is free btw so no harm in going) "The board and association can make any changes they want. they do not need to discuss this with any of the tenants in this building" (btw think about if you want to live in a place like this) These are all DIRECT quotes from the front desk worker. How embarrassing

Second year living here! Heather and the rest of the staff are welcoming and happy to help! The place itself is pretty quiet so it’s great for students needing to focus on academics. The tailgate they host is always fun to check out during football season! Apartments are affordable and the lobby is clean and well taken care of. Another big bonus is the pack of pets in the building so no worries on dealing with the noisy neighbors dog! Overall if you don’t want to live in a dorm, riverwatch tower is a great place to stay!

I lived at here for 1 year and a half during my school time. Not bad overall, good price and near the university. Really noisy when there is a football game, they even rent their park space for activity. Elevator is another problem, broken twice in half year. Con: they have a small mangement room at ground floor with pretty nice and helpful staff.
