Scape Hammersmith, london

I have been staying in Scape Hammersmith for nearly 2 months. It has been a great experience. My room is more than twice the size of my room at another student accommodation and has all modern amenities, especially air conditioning. The kitchen is also very well equipped and I have made a lot of use for it. The rest of the building is also very well equipped with study rooms, pool table, gym and a cinema room, which are all free to use for residents. Scape offers far more the any previous halls that I have stayed in. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. When moving in, they even took my luggage to my room for me. The Scape staff were always happy to help me with any problem that I had during my stay. The halls are also very well located. Three tube stations and a bus station are within very short walking distance, and the Hammersmith Broadway Shopping centre is very close. I would definitely recommend Scape Hammersmith for any students planning on studying in London. It is more than worth the rent.

The biggest downside of living here is that the building doesn’t have any windows, so it’s basically sealed off and fully dependent on the AC and ventilation system. After a while, the air starts to feel stale and unnatural, especially when you realize you can literally never get fresh air into your room. Living in a space like that 24/7 affects you more than people think. It can start to feel stuffy, mentally draining, and even claustrophobic. Sometimes it gives you headaches or leaves you feeling tired and foggy all the time. The lack of fresh air and natural ventilation makes the whole environment feel unhealthy.

I had a great experience living in this apartment. The place is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The location is very convenient, close to public transport and supermarkets. The management team is friendly and always responds quickly to any requests. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Good facilities and various events hosted over the term. Some of the furniture and organisation of the room could be done in a more ergonomic way though e.g. the microwave is very high up and the chair in the room is quite uncomfortable
