Good atmosphere. Kind receptions. Sometimes they have unexpected enjoyable events - photo contests, halloween present. I couldn't see any error using electricity, washer, heater, and water. It could be compact, but very good for students since it's compact. The cleaning staff and security do their jobs and are always kind. All you need to do is maintain your place and manage your stuff in a shared kitchen. You don't have to be anxious that you cannot get parcel and post because they get all stuff at once instead of you, double check and notice via email. Most of all, it's one of the cheapest in London. You cannot find this one. And yard is lovely, too.

Terrible student accommodation, they have mice and rats which is why they have two resident cats onsite to kill them. Yet the cats aren’t permitted in our flats which is where i have personally seen the mice (in our kitchen). Our door to access the flat was broken for 6 months and they only decided to fix it in the week we were moving out. Which is an insane security problem. speaking of security problems staff did not care who entered the building, anyone off the street could walk into our accommodation if they looked like a “student”. At first it’s convenient not having to sign your friend in everytime they visit but then it leads you to wonder who else could easily have access to our building. Staff in this place was downright rude, the only staff that were kind were the receptionists (a black lady and a south asian man). Other than that they did not care about their residents only the money. Rooms were filthy with stains from previous residents and the walls are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING. Fire alarms were constantly going off and the circuit laundry left your clothes smelling worse than before. 😭😭😭Honestly guys save your money. Also they only have block A B and E renovated if you get F block good luck.

Loved this accommodation it's affordable, convenient transport links and friendly staff/ student environment. The room size is decent for the price with a private bathroom, especially for central London. The staff are so lovely and understanding when it comes to financing. They seem to care about the students living here. Dinwiddy House even has house cats for everyone to enjoy, and trust me, they're so adorable. I'm planning to enrol back into the accommodation for my second time! I don't normally write out reviews so I'm not lying about this I highly recommend it.

If it’s your first year, do NOT live here. Yeah it’s cheaper than other accommodations, but that’s the trap. Horrible water maintenance, horrible alarms ringing at least 7 times a week at random, basically zero security the guard is asleep anyway, and rooms… UGH. And don’t even get me started on how they protect actual harassers. AVOID TS BRO

Good room, good location and courtyard. Only downside was there was an elevated wall half way behind my bed that I occasionally banged my head on. Staff were nice as-well, and always willing to help. Also just to mention I did receive an all boys flat, which I understand flat allocation may be done randomly, however many girls were placed in all girl flats when they hadn’t even chosen to. It was fine for the most part, as all the boys were mostly kind however being put into a flat with all boys, half of which were a tad older then me, it was quite daunting as a 18 yr old fresher. I would just recommend to the sanctuary staff that there are some filters that mean this doesn’t happen in the future.
