Here is Amazing and the best place I have ever lived. I have a lot of health issues and all staff will check in regularly if they haven't seen me to ensure I am okay and pick up things for me if I am unable to. There are loads of common areas and spaces throughout the building and a nice garden area. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic they have ensured our safety and are one of the only accommodations in Aberdeen that can state they have had no positive cases, which during this uncertain time is very reassuring for all residents. Due to being unable to host events they have ensured we have online activities we can partake in. Staff are here for all our needs but also care about us not only as residents but as people and staff will always check in on us and try to ensure that we are physically well but also check in on us with our mental health to make sure we aren't struggling and when we are they go above and beyond to help us. By far this is the best decision I have made was to move here as the support given by staff is the best I have ever seen. Jen regularly checked in on me through the months after my viewing until my move in date and also helped me when moving in due to me struggling with a broken wrist. I honestly could sing the praises of the staff enough. And on top of the amazing staff, the building and rooms are so well maintained and are so beautiful.

I took over a six-month tenancy here from a couple. They told me that they were no longer students at the time they transferred the contract to me. In that case, were they legally allowed to continue living in student accommodation? At the time, I was still enrolled as a student. However, I had some personal issues to deal with, and I was also waiting for a refund from another student accommodation contract. At the same time, I had an essay deadline approaching. Therefore, I tried to communicate with the reception to ask whether it would be possible to delay the rent payment. The manager, Densie, was very strict and insisted that I make the payment immediately. I used my Chinese bank card to withdraw £800 in cash from an ATM on two separate days, because the daily withdrawal limit was £800. I then deposited the cash into my Scottish bank account and paid part of the rent first. However, the manager was extremely strict about the completeness and immediacy of the rent payment. I put my essay aside and paid the remaining rent as quickly as possible. Looking back at the whole process now, I feel that this is a profit-driven company. It does not seem suitable for student life during the academic year.

I am an Overseas student beginning an MSc program in January, so have had to find housing without seeing it first. I sent a bunch of emails to apartments across Aberdeen and Ritchie from St. Peter's Studio replied immediately with all details, with photos of the rooms best suited for me as well as a video tour, and answered all my questions. I'm currently in London and have to return home to the US for a month, and they offered to receive several packages (kitchenware, bedding, books, etc.) and place them in my reserved room until I arrive in January! That gesture alone is one of the best customer service experiences I've had. I also requested an upper floor with a garden view, which Ritchie personally made happen. Bonus is you don't have to pay a deposit - it's wrapped into first payment, which is only due 10 days before your lease starts - but you still have peace of mind of having housing sorted. Thank you Ritchie & Jen, you've made this so much easier than I could've expected.

This is the best student accommodation I’ve ever seen or been to. The building is quite new and it is very nice. The rooms themselves are great sizes and super nice. Everything is great, but what matters most to me is the kitchen and it is fantastic. I cook as a hobby so it’s quite important to me and this kitchen here is just about all I could ask for in a studio apartment this size. Everything else is great too, the bathroom, everything. The location is fantastic. It’s about halfway from the University of Aberdeen and Downtown. Everything is walking distance. Another thing important to me is the bike storage. I cycle for sport and have two nice bikes and the bike storage here is in a basement that’s secure and protected from the elements. Almost no one uses it though because everything is in walking distance so there isn’t much need for a bike. The staff here are wonderful—they’re super friendly and helpful. You couldn’t ask for a better staff. I honestly could not recommend this place more. If the price suits you, you genuinely cannot find a better accommodation.
