This is the review I wrote about this entire property management, Tarantino Properties. Long story, short.. Do NOT move here!!! - They offer a super low price in the beginning until you sign the lease that changes everything. - They do NOT roommate match. - The appliances are cheap and hardly suitable for long-term use. - The maintenance is terrible. - They are NOT pet-friendly. - The management is unprofessional and unorganized. Tarantino Properties, Inc. is absolutely and completely GARBAGE. They seem to prey on college students by offering suspiciously low prices until you actually sign the lease and then the whole apartment unit falls apart. I have tried to get in contact with the Tarantino supervisor for WEEKS by leaving emails, voice messages, contact info but everyone in charge is impossible to get in touch with. ***I resided in one of their properties by the name of BROOKSTONE APARTMENTS @ VALDOSTA, GA and it was the worst 'first apartment' experience of my life. The leasing manager was very unhelpful and the maintenance guy seem to damage more than he could fix. They began to raise prices without any prior notice or consent from the residence and they made it very difficult to receive a copy of the lease. After all of this, they hired a whole new leasing manager who began enforcing all new rules that did not correspond with the lease, without informing any of the residence. So many unfortunate events happened while being a resident here. I would not recommend anyone live in one of these properties (mainly Brookstone Apts.) under any circumstances, it's just not worth it.

If the rating were lower I would give the lower rating. Parents/students do not move here unless you don't value your health, safety and well being. There are no rules that are enforced at Brook Stone apartments Valdosta . Tarantino properties and the managrts at the 1106 slater street address do not care about the conditions in which they place their tennants, they only want your money. They follow the lease ONLY when it is in their favor. There is no student matching. My student was knowingly put in the room with people who drink, party and are drug users and smokers although the apartments are non-smoking and the drugs the property manager walked in on the smell of are illegal in Georgia. Move in anywhere but this place!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE! My friends stove exploded when he turned it on and caught fire. Even though they ignored him about his requests to get a new one because he believes its too old anf not functionable. it burned the upper level and barely survived. Also next to me someone shot through a window. And before that time there were 2 more gunshot incidents. Management doesnt care and will lie to ypur face always and belittle you. Management also tried to move another of my friends stuff to another apartment even though she was in korea for vacation just so they could renovate the whole apartment which is illegal.

Here is the story... The apartment staff went inside my girlfriend unit without any notice, just walked in. Today, i drop here from school and we find out the guy was inside. We went to the office to ask what's going on, and the assistance came out talking that its an emergency and they have the right to go in. According to her, they have to move in a person in. Now this is going to happen without 1)roommate matching. 2) a notice 3) has to move in right away. I asked what kind of emergency let you guys do that! And she just got mad and yelling at us that i dont have the right to talk because im not in the lease...! Well i told her that its my girlfriend apartment and a strange guy was inside! She was not like this when signing the lease. The manager came out and apologized and was nice. And and told us it will be temporary. We walked back and suddenly a police car was outside the unit asking us to go to the office. They heard both of us and forgot the WHOLE issue (in what right you went inside the unit without a notice). she insisted told the police that i am not allowed in the property!... And the police asked me not to come here again! Great company...

Things are improving under new management. So far we have gotten new toilets, shower heads, and the exterior is being painted. The maintenance team is also more responsive
