Overall, Aspen has been the best off‑campus student apartment I’ve lived in near Towson. I did have a pricing issue once last year, but I just went down to the office on the first floor during business hours and they fixed it right away. A lot of my friends who live in other off‑campus spots like York and Altus have told me how much better Aspen is maintained compared to their buildings. Hearing their stories honestly made me realize how good Aspen is in comparison. The staff here really does their best, even cleaning up after some of the messes students leave in the hallways. I definitely recommend Aspen. My experience has been solid and the building is taken care of well. Overall, just have the courage to speak up if you ever have an issue — we’re all adults here and the team is willing to help.

When I was moving out early.. I told the front desk about my situation of being a college student and my deadline was in May and they was alright with me moving out 2 months early and i get a phone call saying I still need to pay for my last 2 months.. I also had a roommate who would steal my things and I told the front desk and they basically did nothing to resolve the issue. You really cant be paying 1.5k per month for lack of security / bad mailing area where people leave boxes out in the open.. 100% Never again

This place deserves ZERO stars!!! Everything about this place is horrible and I would not recommend living here if you care about your peace of mind!!! It is disgusting and not clean at all, and the noise is completely out of control with people throwing parties in the courtyard 24/7 while security refuses to shut anything down even past 10pm!!! For the amount of money you have to pay to live here, it is NOT WORTH IT so please save your sanity and go somewhere else!!! The windows don't even open and there is no ventilation, so when people smoke in their rooms the entire building reeks and management does NOTHING about it!!! The fire alarms go off constantly for no apparent reason and have people evacuating at 3am which is a nightmare if you have early classes!!! On top of all that, people's dogs shit in the hallway, people throw up in elevators, and spill drinks and trash all over the building and there are ZERO consequences!!! You will regret living here and it will drive you crazy!!! ! can only hope they get shut down soon!! Fingers crossed!!

A FAILURE AT EVERY TURN. Easily one of the poorest run apartments in the STATE. They hired children to run the dilapidated dump. BEFORE MOVING IN: TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING. They WILL charge you when you move out. You're gonna have to challenge it. They will tell you "Only the manager can-" you know, like liars. CHALLENGE EVERY CHARGE, there will be a lot of them. If you can live somewhere, ANYWHERE, else, do so!! This place should be shut down. hallways reek of booze and smoke all the time, garbage shoot is always backed up AND let's not forget the mold issues. Seriously, this place is the worst! Save your money and self! oh, and before i forget...Aspen, you're welcome for my feedback. now, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

A lot of these bad reviews are from when Aspen first was built/move in ready. A lot of the confusion was because of Towson university and their ill ability to plan and move people in. The apartments are very nice. Upon move in I did trash on the floor and the table tops were not cleaned off. Definitely shows that they didn’t go through and clean beforehand. In unit washer and dryer and locks on the doors. I will say the parking garage situation is ridiculous. Having visitors pay for parking is just stupid. Might as well have them park at the Towson garage and walk over. We should get a guest pass. The staff seemed for the most part friendly, except during move in we watched a family struggling to get on the elevator and a maintenance worker and another employee just watched them and didn’t even attempt to hold the door then scolded them for not getting in quick enough. During move in, anyone who isn’t actually moving things should use the stairwell (unless unable). It’s a great location and compared to on campus housing it is a step up. And the front desk people always seem to be rather nice. It’s student housing not a 5 star hotel, what do you expect.
