Campus West, syracuse-ny

Absolutely give 100/100 to CW! I lived in campus west for one and half year, the staff are friendly and repair requests are handled very quickly. If you have a pet, it will love here! My dog is happy to see the all people in Office and the maintenance staff always bring a treat to my dog!I will definitely choose to live here if I go back to Syracuse!

A very poor , awful apartment, I advise everyone not to choose it. 1. This apartment has a basement. I live in the basement. The environment and ventilation are very poor. The main road is outside, and it is very noisy when I sleep at night. I often see bugs, there is a video below. And the rent is the same as that of the higher floors, or even more expensive. 2. You will be charged an extra half a month’s rent. The agreement I signed at the time started on 8.15, but the manager told me that you have to pay one month’s rent. 3. The sound proof effect is very bad. There are often parties or moving things upstairs at night, and the noise is very loud. I have complained to the apartment several times, but they simply ignore it. 4. Because I complained about noise, rent, and basement issues, they thought I was annoying, and they started to target me intentionally, and canceled my Internet account. I couldn’t access the Internet for nearly two months, which seriously affected my study. 5. There are pictures below. My bedroom window was broken by someone outside and needs to be reported for repair, they are very inefficient and warned me not to open the window in the future. That's about these, hope it helps future people avoid renting this disgusting apartment. I hope this apartment disappears from the earth quickly.

Campus West is beautifully appointed and the perfect location for Syracuse grad students. I love that it's pet friendly and well-maintained. Support is outstanding-- I've had great experiences getting help with questions with the lovely Amy especially!

Very quick maintenance. The building itself is maintained very nicely. But, it sucks how the mail room is sometimes chaotic, which I heard it's not the office's duty of care.

5 stars is a definite! No place is going to be 100% perfect, but they do everything in their power to make it as close to 100% as possible! ALL the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They aren't a "pet accepting" place but "pet loving". My dog gets excited to see all the people in the office. Apartments are furnished with brand new furniture, cleaned to perfection before moving in, and any maintenance issues are addressed pretty much within a day. On top of all of this, the apartment is extremely safe with the designated fobs as compared to the house apartments for SU students located on the other side of campus. The only downside may be that it is on the more expensive side, but 1. That's college for ya! and 2. you definitely get what you pay for- fully furnished, AC, new appliances, gym, study rooms, and (personal favorite) patio for the warmer days. Happy to live here for a second year.
