This complex is infested with mold and roaches. Not only do they think it's appropriate to give people apartments raging with filth, but they didn't make any accommodations for us on the first day of move in. Especially when the mattress is infested with roaches.

I’ve lived at Milestone (formerly Apex on Perkins) for a bit over a year now. When I first moved in, management was kind of a nightmare and my Central AC was broken for probably ~6 months. Since new management took over around the new year, my experience has improved drastically. The management is easy to contact and kind, the staff members are helpful, and many improvements have been made to my apartment at no extra cost to me (counters, flooring, cabinets, etc.). My AC was also promptly fixed after the takeover! The only problem some people might have is that the amenities (pool, hot tub, gym, etc.) aren’t super well taken care of, but I don’t use them and my rent is cheap enough that I don’t care if they’re useable. I would say keep in mind the management change when looking at older reviews, I promise it’s now leagues better.

I’ve lived here for almost two years, and the new management has really made this a good place to be. Maintenance has always responded within a few days, and the office is really quick to give you a response to any questions or concerns you might have. Overall it’s a good college apartment to live in.

Horrible experience. Do not rent from this place. It is cheap initially, but they are going to find ways to charge you. For example, the deposit you give them. Expect at least $100 taken out automatically, no matter what. We had $200 taken out from both me and my husband because of “electricity expenses.” Yeah whatever, how could be both use $400 in electricity in half a month? We actually even moved out earlier than last month of rent. Want to talk about the quality of rooms? Horrible. Maintenance dosent care. Manager dosent care. If you have an AC out, expect it to not work until they’re feeling good one day. Dog park is never cleaned. Public restrooms are always nasty. Sometimes unexpected “fees” get charged and never refunded. They act super nice, and talk a lot, but they are just in it for the money. They don’t care about tenants.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I stayed here for over 2 years. In that time they changed management twice. The AC went out in the summer and this issue was treated as “low priority”. At one point, the dumpsters were overflowing for WEEKS. There was nowhere to put our trash!! (Picture included.) The pool was closed all the time and the hot tub has been shut down since before I moved in. The bathroom in the clubhouse was dirty with no toilet paper for months. The gym has no AC, and it is a sauna in the summer. When I finally moved out, I was told there would be no extra changes. But I was charged anyways. If this company had their employees all on the same page, or had they told the truth of them not knowing if I would be charged, it would be fine. It’s the fact that I was lied to and charged anyways that upsets me. DO NOT move into this apartment complex. They will tell you that your opinion and comfort matters when it clearly does not.
