I am from India and moved in here at August. Initially, I found difficulty roaming in a new system in new country. But the management and staffs are so helpful here to guide me and allotting me the apartment. The maintenance staffs are so quick and efficient, I don't have to worry much regarding any stuff to be fixed in my home. Management always cooperated in every possible ways. Laundry rooms are good. Gym is available 24*7.. After 1 month of stay I can happily say that if you are a undergrad or grad student at UTSA, you can select Maverick as your good option of home within affordable price offered with best possible services.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. If you want to live in a roach infested bio hazard where nothing works, this is the place for you. Plumbing, doors, walls, windows, EVERYTHING is falling apart. The roaches are EVERYWHERE, plumbing, walls, vents, EVERYWHERE. DO NOT believe that any unit is safe. It is a PROPERTY WIDE issue, you can’t cook at all because they’re in the kitchens (even the microwaves). Living off single use canned food or never being home are the best options I’m not kidding or exaggerating. You can’t turn off the lights without worrying about roaches even with cleaning and exterminators (the fumigation they provide does nothing) so good luck sleeping soundly. I wish I had been warned or found honest reviews before this. I’ve seen cardboard boxes under a bridge in better condition. Find somewhere else or live in your car if you need to. ANYWHERE but maverick creek.

Living here for 5 years now. Earlier I gave it a 5 star. I really liked living here. This apartment is not too much crowded like other new apartment complexes. The pool is nice! But these days not anymore! It started during pandemic. Almost everything is broken in the gym. One treadmill is not working for maybe 5 months. It just says out of order but they do not fix it. Gym equipments for strength training are not well l-maintained either. Some of the seats are torn. Some equipments you just can’t use because some parts are missing. There are cockroaches everywhere on sidewalks and inside apartments too! There is dog poop here and there. It used to be not like this. The staffs were super friendly back in 2018-2020. These days can’t say the same. My car got broken into two times and stolen once. We complained about security but they didn’t take any actions about it. You can’t take parking permits for visitors more than 3 days per month. That is insane too! I hope the management fixes these issues.

I was given a very nice tour here. Very transparent on what the community has been working on and where bug infestation issues stem from. While I didn’t choose here, it was definitely on my top list of picks, and I would definitely recommend people who are trying to find student housing for UTSA to take a look here.

I wish I could give a negative star rating cause they don’t even deserve a one star. The office says they are there to help but multiple times when needing helping in my apt they refuse or just flat out decline even when it’s all gone through their “checks” and “steps” that they laid out. Don’t recommend this apt complex at all if wanting a helpful apt complex and good people.
