Dear Found Study, Thank you for making my experience at Found Midtown East truly memorable. I loved the amenities because it fosters a community and make it easy to connect with others. Whether it was spending time in the lounge, playing pool, using the kitchen, being in the penthouse, accessing the TULU vending machine, grabbing food from the deli, or hanging out with friends, there was always a welcoming space to socialize and be productive. Throughout my stay, I experienced no HVAC issues and never had any noise concerns. Honestly, I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this property. The staff is always responsive and very respectful. The staff is there for you. The location is another major advantage. Found Midtown East is in a beautiful neighborhood, with both a fire station and police precinct just a block away. Despite being so close, the area remains surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Three words that best describe Found Midtown East: • Secure • Well-Maintained • Community-Oriented I highly recommend Found Midtown East to anyone looking for a comfortable, social, and dependable place to live.

Before you send your kids here, there are a few things to consider: You are essentially paying $1.5-2.5k dollars for a hostel. The walls are incredibly thin, and you hear every detail from everyone around you. The air conditioning in the building is “centralized,” but really it’s never turned on unless heat is DANGEROUS. It is currently 80° in the lobby, and air conditioning still is yet to be turned on (which I assume is why there is an influx of 5 star reviews from accounts with no other review history in the last 24 hours, as found is expecting bad reviews for the choice to not turn on AC and is offering incentives for reviews.) Room size is not uniform, and you are gambling with possibility of getting a street side, decent sized room, or a bed 2 feet away from somebody else with the view of a concrete wall. In-Unit laundry is $6 for one cycle, and you will not get refunded for a defunct washer or dryer, and the same dryers have been having issues for the entire year and not being replaced. The mail delivery system is messy, and packages are frequently lost or given to the wrong people. On top of all of this, the bathrooms do not have a vent system, which leads to black mold accumulating quickly, and when this happens, found will paint over the black mold (rather than using a mold blocking primer) and consider it solved. Found is owned by private equity, and they are skimming every single cent out of you. What is positive about this location is the amenities, including a nice kitchen/cafeteria, a quiet library, and a cool rooftop. The RA’s and security guards are mostly nice, understanding people, but some spend the entire time playing chess or on their phone, and get annoyed when they are asked to do their job, which is understandable, considering they are also sitting in 80 degree heat the entire day. The cleaning and maintenance staff are all extremely kind and work very hard to keep this place in order, if you do have basic maintenance issues, they are usually very quick to respond, though some issues never fully get fixed. It also would be nice if you like to keep to yourself, because this is not the best place to make friends (Though that is not the fault of found itself.)

I really enjoyed my time living at found study! The environment is friendly, the building is amazing, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and any maintenance requests were handled quickly. Anytime I needed something, the staff was quick to respond and genuinely cared about making things easy for residents. One of the RA’s, Isha, was really helpful when I was moving in. Overall, this is a great place for students who want a comfortable, supportive living situation. I’d definitely recommend it!

Samuel Alexander is a fantastic RA! Always a friendly smile at the desk, and super helpful. One time I had issues with filing a maintaince request, and he helped me figure it out. Some may even call him Super Sam! Also, Robert Rada is a ball of energy and such a good RA! He always has a found friendly attitude! One time, I was missing a package, and he went out of his way to find it for me. I love living at Found Study Midtown East! Such amazing RAs and a great community!

My experience dorming at FOUND Study Midtown East was very positive. The building was a convenient place to live while going to school and the Midtown East rooms are very nice as well as furnished. The building had convenient on-site amenities too. I especially appreciated Isha, an RA, who was super helpful whenever I needed assistance. She helped me with lost packages and made it much easier to learn my way around the building, which made my overall experience much more comfortable and stress-free.
