The Denn Apartments, minneapolis-mn

Despite not being as obvious this apartment is managed by Millennium Management and it shows. There was a box of mouse traps in the cabinet when we moved in and a mouse ran out of the bedroom wall at me early in the lease. The laundry is coin operated and increased in price despite being broken quite often. In addition packages have been getting stolen frequently and management does nothing about it. There are cameras to make sure you pay for laundry but the cameras that could be used to catch thieves are not used to help residents. The tow trucks here are the most aggressive I have ever witnessed. I am regularly trapped in the parking lot by a tow truck taking its time and I have had two separate guests of mine be towed literally minutes after parking. They are more of an inconvenience than anything. The building has what is made to look like a loading zone or guest lot with parking blocks yet nobody can use it at all. My friend parked here to use the bathroom and by the time he got out of my bathroom the car was gone. The place is more up to date than most of the garbage managed by Millennium but don't let it fool you. It is not worth living at any dwelling owned by this company if you can do anything at all to avoid it.

There is a genuine astounding amount of shit in the lawn. Not sure why management hasn’t don’t anything about it. There’s also no sidewalk connecting to the parking lot so you have to navigate through 100 kernels of dog shit on ice in the snow.

The trains are extremely loud all day and night. Packages are constantly stolen and management does nothing. They don’t repair any broken appliances.

Was looking for a place to move to in the city. However, this has to be the strangest experience I've ever had. Used the phone number listed on their website. Was then contacted about a tour. However, it wasn't for the apartments at all. It was for a house nearby. It was strange, but we said, "oh well, let's check it out." Got to the house and the neighborhood looked fine. But then we got inside to a dirty and decrepit looking house. The smell inside was horrendous and you could tell there was some serious pest issues. The agents giving the tour didn't really seem interested in actually being there. The worst part was the basement which looked straight out of a horror movie. Graffiti was on a closet door and the strangest sight was a packages of condoms sitting on the dryer. Can't really say anything about the actual apartments since we never saw them. Definitely beware with contacting through the website as the whole thing just had a really bad vibe.

The worst apartment ever! I lived there for almost a year and I deeply regret it. First of all, it is close to railway, and train sounds and vibrations are so enoying. Second, the property never clean the building at all. At least in the year I lived there. Coreways, stairs and all aminities were very dirty The apartment are not in a good conditions. It was mold on bathtube and inside the kitchen cabinet! The parking lot pavement is a disaster. They never fix the asphalt. It caused lot of problem during winter. Finally, they never refund your security deposit in total especially for international students. They put fines on your account for absurd excuses like cleaning, light bulb. I mean $50 for a light bulb???? There are 4 washing machines and 4 dryers which only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers are working and the rest of them are brocken for 45 apartments, so imagin the line for doing lundary at the weekend!
