With this new management, it is very clear of the changes that have been made. The hallways and floors look nice and the pool looks great. Changes don’t happen overnight, but they are doing a great job making this place safer and better to live at.

I’ve lived here through the management change, and I can honestly say the new management team that started in March has made a huge difference. The property is kept clean, and you regularly see the staff walking the community to make sure everything looks good. Work orders are completed quickly, and the office staff is always friendly, professional, and willing to help. My apartment is spacious and well-maintained. I toured other communities, including Icon, and the apartments here were much larger and offered better value. Overall, I’m very happy living here and appreciate all the improvements that have been made. Keep up the great work!

I had a great experience with the new management! Kayla helped make my move-in process so much easier and was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful from the start. She answered all of my questions, was patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I really recommend Kayla to anyone moving in—she'll make the experience so much easier.

Do not move here. PARENTS BEWARE. Management is always available prior to signing the lease. But once the lease is signed, management is non existent. In nearly 12 months management has NEVER responded to any of my emails, return any phone calls, or reply to messages made on residential portal. Update: So I reached out and they did terminate my lease after 10 mths of paying rent for a place my daughter NEVER moved into. Because I did not remove my review, management refused to approve my refund for the month of May. I DO NOT recommend signing a lease.

I moved to Gateway on Cullen August 2020 and this is what I've experienced....They have changed management 5 different times, ensured me during my tour in 2020 that the pool would be cleaned by the next week....to this day it is still green, door handles are missing on most doors/gates, stairways are covered with trash/ bugs and smells like shit (some days you cant use the stairs because it covers the walkways), the whole place is infested with bugs/roaches (Terminix is always parked outside) when I moved to another unit, me and my roommates had to clean the whole place ourselves due to the shitty cleaning job done, they will knock once or not at all before entering your unit. They walked in on me taking a shower 3 times...when you can clearly hear the water running, yes it is close to UH....but that doesn't help if their shuttle bus is always malfunctioning. The fire department, The City of Houston, and petitions have been signed to address the neglect and management of this property over the last 2 years and there has been no changes. This place is way over priced for the amenities that they say they have, vs what they actually have. It would make more sense to get your own 2 bed somewhere else for $1600 ($800 each) instead of paying $2,600 ($1300 each) at gateway for a 2 bed. My roommate and I moved to the Heights a month early to finally get out of Gateway on Hell and while we were still in the process of moving, our other roommate Tati decided to move in her nasty brothers to squat and completely trash the place, Managements communication was terrible, I only got answers and updates if I reached out....They act like there is urgency....but yet every time we went back to gateway for the remainder of our stuff or to walk the unit with the MANAGER....they were there every time. (a whole month 1/2) In the end, they charged her for our electricity and rent, but who knows if they actually did it. In all honestly...I should have gotten a lawyer to get me out of my lease or sue due to neglect and health violations a lot sooner. I have over 200 pictures of Gateway in my phone but only put the worse ones......Overall this place gets -5 stars....DONT EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE!!!
