Such a bad place to live. Extremely expensive for the living conditions. Everything is breaking down in the rooms, maintenance was called probably 20 times in one year. Leasing managers are extremely unhelpful if there’s an issue. They overcharge for everything, and they increased their base rent by $200 mid year to add to already overpriced and poorly managed apartments. There is also a major cockroach infestation. The freshman dorms are most likely a better place to live than here. There is many bad reviews on this page, and the complex has done nothing to change anything over the years. Do NOT recommend living here at all.

I would give zero stars, but unfortunately I have to give one. I took a sublease here for the months of June and July and it was the most filthy, disgusting, terrible place one could possibly live in. To start, the trash by every door on the property is always overflowing and it is constantly blowing around the parking lot. Bugs, giant bees, and flies are also always swarming outside and in the building. The hallways smell like weed and good knows what else and the stairwells have holes punched through the walls and the railing has been ripped down and never fixed. The air conditioning system is piss poor and doesn't keep anything cooler than 80 no matter how low you set it. The suites themselves are mismatched eyesores and if you get stuck with horrible roommates then you are truly in for an experience. Plumbing does not work and nothing will drain down the tub or sink for ridiculous amounts of time. I had my bathtub break and called and was told that they would get to it before the end of the day for sure. Gets home and nothing was done. I call the office again and I am told they will not be able to do anything until three days later on the following monday. Three days with about a half a foot of standing water in my tub so I can't even shower??? I had to call the emergency line just to get someone to help. Ridiculous. And then I get home and everything that was pulled out of my drain was LAYING ON THE FLOOR. They couldn't even put it in the trash can TWO FEET AWAY. The floors are gross in and outside the suites and there is always someone yelling or screaming in the parking lot. Office staff is of little to no help especially if you talk to anyone except a manager. The pool and pool building were always filthy and obviously never cleaned. The gym had dirt coating the floor and the office staff would leave at 4 when they were supposed to be open to 5 every time I tried to go in after work. The Provincial is an option for me to live full time after this coming year, but I will make sure every one of my friends know that they should run the other way before ever considering a lease at this drug den. Literally because I didn't walk through the doors once without immediately being choked by the smell of pot.

The best apartment complex ever at CCU!! The environment is very welcoming, the staff helps you out immediately with any problems and are amazing people, and which student wouln’t want to study next to the pool and roast marshmellows at the fireplace at night? Amazing apartment complex 10/10

The apartments themselves aren't bad, nice living space and bedrooms even tho the rooms are smaller than Arch. Amenities are okay, pool nice but half of sun is covered by building and the gym equipment is honestly not good at all. When they "replace" your dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc it is so obvious that they take it out of some back closet somewhere. everytime u put in a work order they lock the door behind them, since this happened they locked me out of my place twice and i had to pay $75 each time tog eat back in even though it was their fault. the staff is no help and do not care about you. they wouldn't allow me to have a parking passes for my parents for my graduation because they were "at capacity". mind you, you are only allowed a 3 day parking pass like twice a month. my roommate is having surgery and her boyfriend is coming in and out to help take care of her and she nor i are allowed to get one for him, nor can we get one for longer than 3 days which she will be taking longer to recover. anything they can charge you for, they will. i lost my mail key, which i would have understood paying for if they weren't switching out the keys anyway because they no longer work for the mailboxes. Got charged over $65 for water one time (usually around $20) TV broken on arrival and dishwasher has not worked for about 3 out of the 12 months we have been here. make us pay for full month of both August and July even though we are only allowed here for less than half of the month both times. They keep raising pricing bc they prey on college students who need accessibility to campus and squeeze any money they can bc they think we don't know better. avoid these properties (arch, acsent, etc) if possible.

I would NOT RECOMMEND renting from any Walk2Campus properties. I would suggest paying the extra money monthly to live at either the Pier or College Town Communities, and this long review explains why: My roommates & I had toured the Ascent and they had told us that they had open availability for a specific floor plan of a 4 bedroom apartment, we then completed the entire leasing process just for them to tell us that they had leased the last unit but then offered us another floor plan which was conveniently more money per person, they refused to honor the price that we were originally anticipating that we were paying although it was their lack of communication and then we were then sent over to the Arch which is another Walk2Campus property which is not a great living environment either. After that we decided to try again to move to the Ascent. During my leasing time there, communications between tenant and the complex are extremely difficult due to that there is no direct "Ascent" phone number for you to call and also that their hours at the clubhouse change frequently and they are closed on the weekends. The unit itself was in ok condition, our tv didn't work, there was grey residue on our flooring, and black dog hair left on my window sill upon moving in, throughout our lease we experienced multiple problems with appliances such as the dishwasher & dryer most frequently, there is a closet in each building which they will "replace" appliances with another one that had caused issues previously and it just seems to never get solved to the point where we just stopped putting in a repetitive request for the same issues. Your security deposit is a mandatory keep for them because they will nitpick at the smallest things to make more money but then refuse to adequately prepare the units for new tenants. For the amenities & grounds; there is no "wristbands" or locks on the pool gate nor does anyone actually come check if it is residents at the pool so during the school year there is an excess amount of freshman from campus & people who live in non-apartment housing who come and use our pool so it is impossible to actually find a lounge chair and use that amenity during those times. The gym is also pretty much open to the public because there is no key entry and also the air-conditioning is pretty much nonexistent. The common hallways are usually extremely dirty due to lack of cleaning. Trash valet is never "on time" but they will fine you if you leave your bin out. Maintenance quoted $500 for a broken sliding door but then we received a $1000 charge for it and was told to "refer to our lease" for the pricing (which was not on there) but there is absolutely no reason for maintenance to quote a specific number to tenants then to be up-charged. If you will have a guest for the weekend or during the week this is not a good place for you to live, initially I was allowed guest passes whenever needed over the course of months with no problem and then one day it became one and then there was a rule of "you're only allowed a guest pass for 7 days total of a month and we only give out passes for 3 days total" there are no designated guest spots either. I needed to make sure that my caretaker was able to access me while in recovery without getting towed and I FIRMLY believe that if my roommate did not leave a negative review that they would have given me a hard time for it, and that I should not have to overshare personal information to these individuals to receive a parking pass when I pay close to $1000 a month for an apartment that's base rate was $550 only 2 years ago. The employees at Walk2Campus and the Ascent are very unhelpful and can give you attitude at the slightest things, invest your money elsewhere to a community that uses the money that you pay them to provide a positive living experience.
