Worst living experience I've had in college. For starters our ceiling was leaking whenever it rained, and maintenance came after we called 3 times just to tell us there's nothing they can do because a door on the roof blows open when it rains. Less than a month into living there, our stove broke and the oven wouldn't heat above 200 degrees. All 4 of us submitted a service request and nothing. My mother then had to call and complain in order for them to replace our stove, and they didn't tell us when they were doing it so they took our old stove while we were in class and replaced it which was nice, except we had our baking sheets and such in the bottom drawer that we never got back. In my particular building we had many people partying below us. It got so loud that we would be able to feel the floor vibrate and on 2 occasions pictures fell off of our walls. We would attempt to file noise complaints but they would keep partying until about 2am or so. And don't even get me started on how many people in that building smoked weed, it reeked. Residents here also are incapable of picking up after their animals as pet waste would remain in the grassy areas right next to the walkway for literally over a month, and that reeked worse, to the point that the flies were unbearable. I was also appalled to find dog urine on the stairs, and on a couple gross occasions human excretion on the ground as well. So much trash would accumulate next to the elevator, but the dump in the front of the complex takes the cake. They need a dumpster in the back because obviously 1 dumpster for a complex of that size isn't cutting it. Staff was friendly for the most part, I'll give them that--except one older lady whose name I never caught. Every time I would call about a concern or try to reserve a guest parking pass she had the nastiest attitude. One day I called and tried to reserve one and was told that it can only be done in person, so I used my lunch break to go reserve it in person, where I was told there were none and I was to do it on the phone, but keep in mind this was the same lady! And trying to sublease? Such a headache! I moved out in May and the sublet moved in like a week after me, but as of today they apparently still have no documentation of them living there and they're still sending me bills even though I paid my insane sublease fee for my name to not be on the bills anymore! The rent is relatively on the cheap side but trust me, you get what you pay for here. The people were pretty friendly but I'm not sure all of them know what they're doing...I seriously wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely worst place to live. I've had an insane amount of problems here. Some of them include: major bug issues when we moved in and they wouldn't do anything to fix it, maintenance men coming in and out as they please, maintenance men saying they completed service requests that they never did, horrible employees that couldn't care less about you, mold in the apartment from the person's dishwasher above us leaking and they won't do anything about it, having a roommate physically threaten me of which i got on video and they refused to do anything about it and said it's in their lease that they never have to do anything about threats and physical contact between roommates, etc. I literally could go on forever about how horrible this place is.

I've been living at the Coastal Club Student Living for a year & a half and my experiences have been pretty great. Everyone that has a front desk are so helpful and nice whenever you go in there for help. Anything that I have needed done too the two apartments that I have lived in here, have been taken care quickly by the maintenance crew. There was a little problem when I switched apartment but it was taken care of within a day and the leasing managers were amazing with keeping us updated on the situation. I highly recommend this place to students looking for a place to live.

I lived at Coastal Club for a few years, my rent ended a year ago to this near date. 1) When I moved in, they were throwing out old temper mattresses and they asked if I wanted to keep mine, which I agreed to because they were replacing them with those plastic beds that you got in dorms. They told me that they were going to put it in my records so I wouldn’t get charged. Fast forward a couple years later, a month before move out I double checked with them the situation because it was change of ownerships. And they said it was fine and saw the note. 5 months later they sent debt collectors after me for the mattress. When I reached out to them they said they would reach back out and never did. So in result I ended up just paying it off because I did not want to go to court. 2) There was mold in my apartment and vents. I stressed multiple times that there was because I was tested positive with mold poisoning, and they told me that didn’t matter unless they sent someone in to test, which they would not do. I spent half of a year sick to the point I was bed ridden for a some time. They refused to do anything to resolve any of the issues.
