900 on Park is a peaceful and calm place to live. The staff is welcoming and always brings great energy. They also host fun events for residents and cover the costs, which makes it even better. The new management is truly making an effort to improve things and actively listens to residents.

Very kind and caring staff. Discretely took care of an issue I had with another tenant when their unleashed dog attacked myself and my dog on multiple occasions. They all know me by name when I come in and take care of any issues I have. Maintenance is available after hours and helped us when we had an emergency. New management has been 10x better than old management. Thank you guys!

The Pointe will always be my second home in Carbondale, and I can genuinely say it felt like a home away from home. Having spent an extended period in Italy, I was initially apprehensive about adapting to a new environment, but The Pointe's management, especially Carson and Amanda, made the transition seamless. Their exceptional support and understanding were invaluable, making me feel welcomed and supported. I must applaud the management for providing student residents with opportunities to work during the summer, allowing us to contribute towards our rental payments – a thoughtful initiative that fosters a sense of community. I wholeheartedly recommend The Pointe to anyone, irrespective of their background, who is looking to stay in Carbondale. The friendly faces of BG, Mitch, Sean, Michael, and Hetty deserve a special shoutout. My gratitude is forever committed to the wonderful memories created at The Pointe.

It has been one month since my son moved in (3 weeks since my first review). His washer is now leaking majorly and the building manager has promised a repair or a new washer. Neither has happened! No repairs mentioned in earlier post have been addressed. Plus, the pool is still black.

TL;DR Worst renting experience, rent from someone else instead. :) Edit:) Got a knock on my door saying I'm $200 late on rent despite an earlier person saying to pay just whats on my lease (which I have been paying, in full). I really would not recommend living here to anyone if you value your sanity. This has been hands down the worst renting experience I've ever had. None of their employees seem to be on the same page about anything. I called them again asking why I was late on rent and they said "we can't talk about rent over the phone". Mind you, I had just called with the same question last month and got an answer. It seems that they cannot make up their mind about their rules and regulations, they seem to just pull them out of thin air. Its the first week of exams at SIU and you have mowers start mowing at 7:00 am on a thursday. Its 9am and they are somehow still outside my window mowing. Not sure whos brilliant idea this was but its annoying ALSO for the past two months my balance for rentpayment.com has been $949. My lease says my monthly dues are $799 (by the way, 1600 for 800 square feet is absurd, not the point though.) I've called them about the charge and their response is just "ignore it, it'll go away next month" yet it has not.
