​Hands down the best place around Athens for rentals! The apartments are always spotless and well-maintained. If there’s ever an issue, the maintenance crew is super friendly and on top of it right away. They clearly take a lot of pride in their properties, and everyone on the staff has been amazing to work with. If you're looking for a rental, I definitely recommend them!

I’ve never written a review before, but renting from Bobcat Rentals was a terrible experience. I rented from them for two years and constantly had problems. After graduation, they made us move out the same day, leaving many people with nowhere to stay. They also made us drive back down to OU just to return parking passes and still charged us fees. Overall, I would not recommend renting from them.

This is my sixth year living in Athens and these people are the nicest I’ve dealt with by far!! Staff is super kind, maintenance is excellent, and we’re paying a very reasonable price for an apartment we absolutely love!! Would definitely recommend

I have rented from them for 3 years and the first two years were fine with no real issues except that a lot of our deposit was taken. However, our last time renting was 14 Palmer street and we had a series of serious issues come up. First we had multiple water leaks from our ceiling which did in fact damage some of our property the first time. Second, our literal ceiling in one of our rooms crashed down in the middle of the night. It destroyed our brand new tv, and many of our belongings. Bobcat did not check the status of the ceiling before we moved in since it was a drop ceiling over very old plaster and enough vibration from our upstairs neighbors caused it to crashed down. Thankfully no one was hurt. They did not pay for any of the damage caused to our stuff in good faith even though the destruction was due to their negligence. Lastly, our fridge broke twice and caused us to lose hundreds of dollars in groceries. The apartment was a nightmare and the owner was horrible when trying to get the situations fixed. We lost hundreds of dollars of damage and clean up. On top of it all they used an incorrect name for our deposit so we couldn’t even cash it properly. DO NOT rent form them if you have a choice! The only good thing I can say is maintenance was quick to respond.

I rented from Bobcat Rentals (5 Milliron) for three years and had an overall good experience. The units are clean, well-maintained, and the maintenance team is quick to respond and resolve any issues. Throughout my time there, the landlord and office staff were kind and easy to work with. We had a few random (not user error) issues over time—like a broken dishwasher, water heater, and oven—but all were replaced promptly at no charge. Maintenance entries were always announced with written notice, which I appreciated. Based on previous reviews, my experience seems to show significant improvements have been made. A large portion of our deposit was withheld, but management was willing to review our concerns and work with us on some resolution. I highly recommend taking move-in photos to document the unit’s condition. For a college rental and with prices rising across the city, I found Bobcat Rentals to be a solid and reliable choice.
