Braymor Student Housing, akron-oh

Braymor student housing hands down the is absolute best place to stay while attending the U of A!! I have lived in a few of the other students houses around the campus was always extremely frustrated and disappointed with the treatment and service of the other rental organizations. The landlord for Braymor housing is extremely friendly and professional and the maintenance crew is always prompt, knowledgeable and very courteous! Do not waste your time with other rentals, Braymor is the only way to go! Thank you Braymor!

Any problems that my roommates or I have faced regarding the house, the landlord has always had it fixed up as soon as possible. I’ve never had any issues renting through Braymor, only positive experiences and I plan on continuing to rent through them!

I have been really pleased with renting through Braymor the past 2 years. The landlord and his maintence crew are always quick to help when things need fixed; one of the maintence guys even helped put my windshield wiper back on my car. The landlord also seems to care about the students’ safety by the campus area. He is more than willing to install a security system if we feel unsafe at any time. Another perk is that rent seems to be a lot cheaper than anything around campus. All in all, Braymor is a great choice if you are a college student or just renting in the Akron area!

This is an honest review - many of the five star reviews for this company come from tenants who give a five star review in order to be entered into drawing for a gift card. While the actual living conditions weren’t bad, the administration was unprofessional, unresponsive, and untimely. Unless there is a major problem it would take texting or calling the landlord multiple times in order for work to be done. We reached out to our landlord about mice and traps were never set. We also encountered several issues with the landlord not being up to date on who paid rent and who did not.My biggest concern was in the charges after renting that were taken out of our security deposits. Here are the facts: I spent approximately 15 hours cleaning my bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. Some of the dirt I cleaned was clearly from years and years of tenant before me. I was charged for not cleaning any of the bathroom or the bedrooms, 30 dollars alone just for “not cleaning the stairwell”, and the house was charged 180 dollars for 9 sets of blinds that were not broken by us. I would personally not rent from Braymore Development ever again.

Predatory landlord. Jack will take money from your security deposit even though you cleaned the house thoroughly because he knows you will do nothing about it. He's a lawyer and knows that he can take advantage of college students because most of us are broke and desperate. Takes them forever for them to repair anything. Oh and the people that are giving this place one star are correct about baiting his tenants to write good reviews and he is sloppy with keeping track with who he is paying rent. I always took pictures of my checks and sent them to him so he couldn't screw me over. I recommend you do the same if you are currently leasing from him. Varsity rentals at least gave me my full deposit back.
