⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re coming to Leeds and don’t stay at The Fabric Works, you’re truly missing out on premium comfort, community, and good vibes. As a Jamaican postgraduate student, Chevening Scholar 25/26 (and certified bringer of sunshine 🌞), finding a place that felt like home away from home was my biggest prayer and The Fabric Works delivered like Amazon Prime on a good day. From the moment I moved in, the team treated me with genuine care, support, and warmth. They didn’t just give me a room; they gave me a community and as an international student, that is priceless. What makes Fabric Works truly special? 1. A Team That Actually Cares The staff are the kind of people who greet you by name, remember your interests, and check in on you like family. When I started offering yoga classes to help support student wellbeing, they uplifted it wholeheartedly. Posters, announcements, yoga studio, attentive and proactive to feedforward they were on it. And when Hurricane Melissa affected my home country Jamaica 🇯🇲, The Fabric Works team immediately helped me set up and promote a relief donation effort right inside the building. The compassion they showed made me emotional. This isn’t just accommodation it’s a community with heart. 2. A Place That Supports Your Purpose As a yoga teacher in training, they gave me the freedom, encouragement, and the perfect ambience to share wellness with residents. Their support has helped build confidence and community. Students here don’t just study, they grow, they heal, and they thrive. The facilities are topnotch. 3. Community Events That Make You Forget You’re Far From Home Fabric Works hosts frequent, interactive community events, from movie nights to game socials to cultural celebrations. It’s impossible to feel lonely here. You’ll always find someone to laugh with, talk to, or share a warm meal and a good story. These events transform strangers into friends, and friends into family. For international students especially, that togetherness is everything. I always tell people, “The Fabric Works gives you community so you’re never alone in a foreign land.” 4. The Living Experience is Elite What an honor it is to be one of the first persons to live in this building! Rooms are modern, cozy, warm, and well-designed. The mattress? Let’s just say I’ve questioned whether I even need outside plans again. The building is clean, bright, safe, and perfectly located. Every convenience you need is close by, including the bus routes that frequently show up on time. If you want more than accommodation, if you want community, wellness, creativity, culture, safety, and support, The Fabric Works is THE place. Choosing Fabric Works has been one of my best decisions since moving to Leeds. And trust me… once you’re here, you’ll wonder why you ever considered anywhere else. — Jamila Falak

I’ve really enjoyed my time living at The Fabric Works. The building feels safe, cozy and well taken care of. The location is super convenient, the flats are comfortable, and the staff is always kind when I need support or have questions. It’s been a great place to call home, especially as someone new to Leeds. I’m grateful for the experience and definitely recommend it.

The Fabric Works is probably the most modern student accommodation I have ever seen. Th facilities are incredible, the rooms are spacious and set up perfectly for students and the staff are always extremely helpful and welcoming. I have had a perfect experience so far and would 100% recommend it to any student. The staff are super kind and welcoming and plan the best events to create a sense of community! Made moving away from home so much easier!

Honestly one of the best student accommodations in Leeds. The Fabric Works has a really good vibe – clean, modern, and well looked after. The gym, cinema room, gaming room, and study spaces are actually useful (not just for show). Security and staff are always around and helpful, which makes it feel safe and comfortable. Definitely a solid choice for students 👍

Honestly really enjoyed my stay so far! I live on the top floor and it's so quiet and peaceful. I find the kitchen and bathroom very convenient and there's more than enough storage space ! The walk to uni is a mile roughly so quite enjoyable and refreshing :) lots of nice restaurants nearby and a 5-10 min walk from city centre! Aldi nearby is so convenient for food shopping and theres also an arab and chinese supermarket nearby too. Overall, a very nice place to live and worth the cost !
