I had such an amazing experience with the team at this apartment community! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, making the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Their customer service truly stands out! They are attentive, knowledgeable, and really make you feel valued. It’s clear they care about their residents and take pride in what they do.

Since the management changed this month, there has been a noticeable improvement in the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, attentive, and focused on providing great customer service. You can truly feel the positive vibes. Keep up the great work!

I have been living at The Junction at Iron Horse for over three years, and I can confidently say it has been a wonderful place to call home. The community is well-maintained, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for comfortable living. Some of my favorite amenities are the gym, pool, and resident lounge, all of which are clean, modern, and easy to access. They genuinely enhance day-to-day life and make the complex feel more like a community rather than just an apartment. The front office staff are consistently friendly, professional, and approachable. They are always willing to help and do so with a positive attitude, which makes a big difference as a resident. I also really appreciate the small holiday and community events they organize, things like cookie and hot cocoa gatherings or ornament-painting events. These thoughtful touches create a warm, neighborly atmosphere and make residents feel valued. Maintenance has also been excellent. Work orders are handled quickly and efficiently, often much faster than expected, which shows how well the property is managed. Overall, The Junction at Iron Horse has exceeded my expectations, and I’ve truly enjoyed living here. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, well-run apartment community with great amenities and attentive staff.

When I first signed, the people were very nice supportive and helped me with a random roommate process however, when they changed ownership, I was then placed with a male roommate, not once, but twice after asking to not be roomed with a male several times when I expressed concern, they said that it wasn’t up to them and they couldn’t fix it very unprofessional very unsafe. The furniture was also beyond damaged when I moved in, and I did not get my deposit back, even though the previous damage was reported in my first lease.

If you enjoy bringing extra unnecessary pain in your life, this is the place for you! Junction at Iron Horse is the most poorly managed facility I have ever had the displeasure of living in. From the start, I spent 3 weeks calling to ask about move-in information, that they refused to provide over the phone despite verifying my identity. They gave me my roommates information, which contained her SSN. When I moved in, my unit had floors that turned everything black, hair in my bathroom and collected under the bed, and pitted countertops. My gate key fob stopped working about a month into the school year. When I asked Julissa, the property manager, for a new key fob she told me: "Yeah, some fobs were made before an update to the security system so there's issues with scanning in. There's nothing we can do about that." The TPD cop car that was parked in the lot was always empty. Every UAlert about violent persons that went out about areas near off-campus housing was less than a block from me. My apartment was broken into twice! My roommate asked for a second lock on the door that they did not install and I had to buy a security camera. They have crazy turn over, absolutely no emails were answered and it takes approximately 3 phone calls to get anyone on the phone. Attempts to go in person are also useless if you are a student, as they are never in the office. They also SHUT DOWN weekend hours for the entire fall semester and every resident event aside from the lease renewal event gets cancelled. The property manager is rude and always gave the worst information about the property. There was a week long period where no trash was being picked up and she never knew until I brought it up to her! Any issues that the staff DOES know about (such as the broken gate scanners) are never even communicated to residents. Trash is always left rotting in the hallways, which are cleaned MAYBE once a month and there are roaches the size of thumb drives EVERYWHERE. I considered calling the Tucson Health Department. The internet is basically useless to use, you can barely do schoolwork on it and your devices constantly disconnect. Every time it rains, the power goes out. There are next to no amenities, despite what they advertise. The pool is the size of a postage stamp, and there is exactly one study room on property. I got no confirmation that they received any of the move-out paperwork I submitted or that I returned my keys, I had to go in and ask them. My final electric bill was supposed to be "estimated from the previous month's usage" and was higher than almost all of my previous electric bills! I was charged my EXACT security deposit for "cleaning charges" from the unit. Upon emailing them to dispute the charge, I received no response. When I called them to try to dispute the charge over the phone, they told me to email them about it. I finally was able to get half of my security deposit back by going in-person and watching 3 people submit a refund request. They claimed that the "third-party cleaning company" charges for the unit are dispersed among occupants and that's why they would not refund my whole deposit. According to Arizona Property Law and the lease agreement that I signed, I should have gotten the remainder of my deposit back. I still have not received any refund. The lack of management, security concerns, and regard to public health is absolutely disgusting. The units are overpriced, offer no protection, and are right next to noisy train tracks. Julissa is rude and a horrible property manager. I spent over a year having to pressure what should be basic information out of her and her staff as well as beg them to do the absolute minimum required of their job, on top of being a full-time student with other responsibilities. They take exorbitant amounts of money from you with little to no explanation for borderline illegal reasons and are extremely disorganized despite being an established property for over a decade. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE live here for the price they are charging.
