Apella on Newport, tampa-fl

I recently visited Apella and had a great experience. The amenities were impressive, and the community was very clean and well-kept. Jorge, the Maintenance Team Lead, joined our tour and shared that they clean seven days a week, which really stood out. Overall, it seems like a great place to live! Great place for my future student to live.

Love living here. It’s an amazing community to be in since it all students. There is always something to do, the pool is my favorite part! Maintenance are my favorite they have helped us in timely manner many times and always have a smile and love to say hey when in passing!

If I had to give this place a zero star I would. Originally I thought this place would be a great place to live but I was wrong. This will not be the only review I will be posting on this apartments page, I could write an essay on it. But let’s start with the most recent occurrence. The past 5 days (since Tuesday) the other student residences have stayed out past midnight blasting their music, screaming, yelling, drinking, trying to jump off the balconies into the pool, leaving the community areas a DISGUSTING MESS, and the management has done nothing about it. We have called the noise complaint hotline many times this week and they do nothing about it. The front desk overnight people don’t do anything and don’t care. During the day people invite their friends who live on campus over and trash the place, and I can’t even go to the pool to enjoy myself because it’s packed fully. It’s very disrespectful that the owners don’t care how their residents are treated. The last management at least cared about their residents and the first time it happened they addressed it, this one doesn’t. I am paying overpriced to live in a dirty, unorganized, disrespectful and unprofessional apartment building. I wish I could get a refund because I have been contemplating moving out because of this week and it’s no way to live, especially having classes the next day and this happening during the week, not just the weekend. Also no one picks up after themselves, and i will be showing pictures of proof. Do not make your kids live here it’s not worth it. Reminder this is one occurrence but it happens all the time.

This may be the worst place I have ever lived at. For starters your packages are getting stolen 24/7 and management does nothing about it. The one girl they just hired is so highly rude and ignorant. She gives you attitude and talks back. There are flies all the time to where we had to get fly catchers all over the place. Never forget your things will always be broken. The dishwasher won’t work 99% of the time. Your code to the door will stop working and you will be locked out a ton of the time. If you call maintenance they are creepy and weird. The one worker came up to me and touched a part of me to fix something I was wearing…. Are you kidding? This place actually disgusts me. If you want everything to fix broken things 24/7 then definitely pick Apella. I can’t wait to move out of here!!! This is 99% of students living here and management and maintenance will walk into your room at anytime. I was asleep and maintenance tried to come into my room. Thank gosh I had my second lock on my door. This place is a dorm on CRACK!! If you have bad roommates that do horrible things they will not care. This place is unreal and I would never recommend to any student looking for housing.

I have been living at Apella for the last year and a half and can’t explain how well of a job they do. I genuinely enjoy living here, they provide loads of fun events including pool parties. The staff is extremely helpful and understanding helping me with any issues I might have. Overall a great place to live and would recommend it to anybody!
