Hardy Avenue Apartments, san-diego-ca

This is the best apartment complex that anyone could stay at here by SDSU. Everyone here is super chill and helpful. Kenneth is one of the best property managers you can ask for since he is always responsive and will resolve any problems (if any) quickly. The owners are also the most kindest people I’ve met who truly care for their tenants.

I lived here for two years (junior + senior year). My junior year the building was way cleaner and actually felt taken care of, but this past year was the complete opposite. The laundry room was always a mess, the elevator was constantly broken and dirty, and the hallways on every floor looked like no one bothered to maintain them. Management themselves always tried their best and were super nice, but honestly it feels like the owners just don’t care. It seems like they only focus on getting new people to move in instead of maintaining the property for the tenants already living here. On top of that, they held onto our security deposit for over two months past move-out (and then took more than half of it even though the apartment was spotless). Definitely not the experience management tries to make it seem when they beg people to leave good reviews. :(

Although I had to move due to my new job I just want to say Hardy apartments is amazing. The location is prime you can walk absolutely anywhere from these apartments and I mean to Trader Joe’s, the Viejas concert arena, to even the trolley station. With that being said it is also extremely close to campus so it’s an easy walk to absolutely anywhere! I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Kenneth who has been very kind and attentive to any questions I may have. This is the type of care and attention he puts to insure his residents are taken care of. If you are looking to move here I highly suggest Kenneth!!!

Hardy Avenue isn’t a luxury apartment building, but for student housing you really couldn’t ask for more. The manager is friendly and accommodating, and takes good care of the place. The rental process was easy, and we felt taken care of. The property owners seem to really care about the place, and they hosted little events and brought in a food truck for graduation; stuff that made us feel appreciated.

This is a great college apartment. It is very convenient located by campus, the gym, trader joe's, and other food spots. The inside is upgraded and new with a neutral theme. The rooms and bathrooms are sizable and comfortable. I would recommend living here and have had a great experience!
