Where do I start with this place. How I relocated two times for something outside of my control and they tried to relocate me for the third time or the fact that Syndey admitted to my roommates being racist to me and did nothing about it! This complex made me pay for the entire apartment's utilities over the summer although I did not stay there. Even if I was in the apartment, there should be a cut off amount the individial pays since they are the only one in a four bedroom apartment. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMMEND THIS COMPLEX! They are not passionate about the work they do and they do not care if you are hurt in the process. Save your time and find another place to live!

I lived here 2.5 years. My first year here was amazing! After that, it went completely downhill. Electric bills went through the roof, the cleanliness of the property declined, the amenities were not well taken care of, there’s NO PARKING & towing wasn’t enforced for months, my list of issues could go on & on. The gate never works & sometimes even prevented us from being able to enter due to malfunctions. It even hit my car once & the property manager did nothing but walk out of her office & start blaming me. I didn’t even know who she was at the time because she didn’t even take a second to introduce herself. This place could use some major updates because the rent has increased so much yet nothing has been done. Now upon move-out, I’m paying over $500 in “damages”. Carpet replacement is understandable, it’s been nearly 3 years & I had a pet so that makes sense. But over $100 in cleaning fees for a room that i scrubbed down & $155 for full repaint when it only needed a few touch ups?? Money grab. Not even shocked. The office staff…I honestly feel bad for them. It’s clear that they are thrown into the job & unprepared. Every time I went to them with a question, I was given the runaround & not really given an answer. The maintenance guys are so nice & helpful. I’m very grateful for them as they were constantly having to fix old stuff that should've been replaced long ago. One last thing! They changed the internet provider in August, now it NEVER works. It completely went out during FINALS & was out for weeks. It was also our personal responsibility to call the internet company & deal with the outage ourselves. I was still paying for it the entire time I was having to drive to school to work on homework though! No help & no reimbursement. There were zero issues with our internet before & it was amazing. I’m sure they switched it to save a penny & now do nothing to help when the cheapness of it becomes evident. It’s clear the problem is greedy ownership. Now I’m sure the owner will get on here & explain how nothing is really their fault. I have multiple friends who live in other units here as well & their stories are just as bad & even worse. Save yourself & do not live here unless you want to pay an ungodly amount to have constant issues & not even be able to park at your own home. I’m honestly extremely sad to see what it turned into during my time here because it was awesome my first year.

Significant mold problem you can see on almost every door, roach problem, bunch of stray cats, animal poop isnt properly cleaned up nor enforced, not enough visitor parking and no cameras facing the visitor parking lot. ADDITIONALLY, and most importantly, the electric company is fraudulent. I've had to contact them before as Legends cant control it and our electricity usage increased despite most of us being gone for the summer. And we were charged more this year after comparing previous year electricity usage. Maintenance is prompt, and proximity to campus is nice.

I guess you get what you pay for but I’d spend my money elsewhere. I had such a poor experience. It’s funny that they sell themselves as luxury, since they’re quite far from that. The staff was unhelpful 50% of the time I spoke with them while living there, they had to go ask someone else and would get back to me till the next day. This didn’t seem the fault of the front desk workers but rather a true lack of training on part of the managers. The pool was closed for most of the time we lived there, meanwhile their sister apartment across the street had their pool open. My key didn’t work to the main community building that we were supposed to have access to. The “security gate” worked for maybe a total month while living there, left open for anyone to enter otherwise. My front door several times would lock my roommates and I out. Move out was difficult and they wouldn’t let me back into the apartment I was still playing for later. Not to mention they charged over $150 in “painting repairs” for damage that was less than the size of a dime. There was a leak in our roof and instead of repairing the moldy celling they just painted over it. We had several mice and cockroaches in our apartment and we were liable to exterminate them. I found poop, trash, smoked cigarettes and cigars, in the stairwells on several occasions. While there was a policy that pet owners must pickup their dogs poop it was not enforced, I stepped in poo several times. Speaking of their pet policy, they had a screening process but clearly it wasn’t managed well or enforced. While walking our dog my boyfriend was bitten by an aggressive dog of another resident. Furthermore if you want their cheapest rate you have to sign a 12 month lease but are not allowed to move in until late august and are asked to leave before the end of July, meaning you pay for a full 12 months of rent and are only allowed to live in the apartment for 11. This is to “clean” but it was filthy when I moved in. Oh and our dishwasher did not work, every time we used it it would make an awful smell, we tried everything to fix it but nothing worked.

It’s a pretty alright place, no serious bug or ant problems. Amenities are nice, I really like the study area. However as of posting this, some of the appliances need to be updated, our fridge was at the end of its life and the washer and dryer are getting close as well. However all in all, you can’t really beat it when it comes to how close it is to campus I think it’s the perfect apartment if you don’t have a car or hate parking on campus
