If there was a way to rate this place a negative I would. If you are a student or parent looking for your child a place to stay my best advice is to make sure you have your friends that you will be roommates with; people you actually know. Or stay away if possible. They have a no smoking policy and they claim to adhere to it but trust me they don’t. They will continue to send letters to your apartment but will never fix the issue. If you end up with a hostile roommate and you tell management that you don’t feel safe, they will ignore you or the front desk will tell you management is not available . Few times I had to look some where else to sleep because management refused to help. They didn’t want to terminate my lease and they didn’t want to move me to a different apartment. If you want a place safe this is not the place for you. It looks clean and nice from outside and cheap but will learn truly not all that glitter is gold. Best of luck

I would give this place a 6/10. It’s a good place to stay for the amount that you’re paying but if you can afford more then look elsewhere. I moved in last May and I had roach and gnat problems. This lasted until maybe September. I spent a lot of money on roach traps even though they have pest control but that didn’t help anything. It was to the point where if I left to visit home for a couple of days, I would expect there to be a roach on my floor and in the bathroom. Another problem I faced was the WiFi. We experienced multiple outages during the summer and fall so it was hard to get work done unless I stayed on campus later than usual. They changed service providers 2-3 times. The walls are thin and ceiling as well because I could hear the music and people sneezing next door and you can hear the people above just walking around. Maintenance definitely was great!! I like how they respond fast and get it done in a timely manner! The trash pick-up service could be better. They charge $10 for this service but if they aren’t going to come by for multiple days then why am I paying still when I could take it myself? They be quick to give you a warning about how many bags to put out but when you don’t come when specified in the emails then they shouldn’t be complaining!!

The pool is closed on weekends and holidays (including memorial day and the fourth of july). it is only open mon-fri 10-6 when the office is open. Do not move here if you want to enjoy your summer.

The grove staff was fantastic from day one! My move in went smoothly and all of my needs were taken care of. The maintenance staff is great and my work orders are always taken care of fast! Mtsu is just down the road, great place for a student!

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this apartment. After moving in and staying only a couple of days, I began noticing roaches in both my living room and kitchen. I immediately called to inform management, and while they did send pest control, the problem persisted. I followed up with an email to the leasing office, expressing my discomfort, frustration, and disappointment at paying full rent to live in these conditions. I specifically requested compensation on my rent due to this serious issue and even asked about replacing the furniture after seeing roaches crawling in and out of it. My requests were denied. After my email, I received a call from management, only to be told again that compensation was not an option and that their “resolution” was pest control and a cleaning service. Pest control comes every Friday, yet I was informed they wouldn’t return for two weeks to reassess, and that the infestation “gets worse before it gets better.” That is not an acceptable answer for residents who are paying to live here. To make matters worse, after one of the treatments, I noticed the roach issue had gotten even stronger in the kitchen, particularly around the refrigerator. This led me to inspect the fridge and freezer, and upon opening the freezer door, I found dead baby roaches in the corner of the door. I called the office again to report this issue and requested a new refrigerator, but was told it would only be “inspected” when pest control returned to reassess. My roommate also spoke with the leasing office, and to this day, we have not heard anything further about this serious concern. As a college student, I don’t have the luxury of moving back home while this issue is being dealt with. I am essentially being forced to live with an infestation of roaches that I did not bring, nor have I ever lived with before. It is unfair and unacceptable that I am paying full rent to live with unwanted pests, while my concerns and requests for fair compensation have been dismissed. No resident should have to go through this. This experience has caused me nothing but stress, discomfort, and disappointment.
