A fantastic place to live and to work. As a UConn student, living at Meadowbrook was everything I was hoping for when I moved off campus. It felt so nice having my own bedroom and bathroom. The atmosphere and the management are great and I highly encourage other students to check it out! Also, Anna was such a helpful outreach marketing consultant and really improved my experience!

Living at Meadowbrook Garden was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had, and I want to warn others so they don’t go through the same thing. I lived there for about three years, and while the apartment itself was average, the real problems came when I moved out. They kept nearly three-quarters of my security deposit — close to $1,000 — over charges that were completely unfair. The main reasons they gave were that I left a curtain up and that I “damaged” a wall. In reality, the wall only needed a simple, cheap coat of paint, and leaving up a curtain is hardly a valid reason to take hundreds of dollars. These charges felt like nothing more than a way to squeeze extra money out of tenants, especially students who might not have the time or resources to fight back. It was an extremely frustrating and disheartening experience. Instead of treating tenants fairly, they seemed more focused on finding any excuse to keep deposits. As someone who paid rent on time and took care of my apartment, I was shocked at how poorly I was treated in the end. If you are considering moving here, be very cautious and document everything when you move in and out. My advice is to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other places where you’ll be treated with respect instead of being scammed out of your money.

I really enjoyed living here! The staff were always friendly, responsive, and helpful. Every time I had a maintenance request or a question, they responded quickly and took care of it efficiently. I especially appreciated how easy and pleasant it was to communicate with the office team. They made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great living experience!

This is my third year living at Meadowbrook Gardens and I have really enjoyed it! I am currently a master’s student at UConn. Angeles, the property manager, is exceptional. She goes above and beyond! For example, I had a maintenance issue and she stayed after hours to make sure it was addressed so I could feel more comfortable. She also matches roommates very well. I chose to live with my friend for my first two years at Meadowbrook Gardens and when she graduated this past May, she did not need housing near UConn anymore. I still needed housing since I was going back for my master’s. If I am being honest, this past summer, I was worried that the person who was going to fill the vacant spot was going to be a “nightmare roommate”. Long story short, my new roommate is wonderful, thanks to Angeles! Angeles carefully matched me with this roommate based on our answers to a survey. Angeles is an asset to the management team and she is the best! Benefits: - I have my own room and bathroom - About a 12 minute drive from UConn (not counting campus traffic). - Responsive management (another shoutout to Angeles!) - spacious bedroom

Nice apartments but the pricing online should be better advertised. My roommates and I wanted to live in the storrs c section and it was priced on the website as $1200… not saying that was the price for each room!
