Prospect Speedwell, cullowhee-nc

I have had a great time in my year and a half here so far, including the events that are held nearly every month! staff works to plan events for us to keep the Prospect community engaged and happy. Staff is always there to help as well!

I have lived at speedwell for 2 years now and I love it. Management is extremely friendly and helpful and if a problem arises the maintenance team is quick to come fix it. Affordable for college kids and the perfect little community. 10/10 recommend.

This was the best living experience I had during my time at Western. It has been over a year since I have lived at Speedwell. Since then I have lived in other complexes that did not live up to the same standards I was accustomed to while living at Speedwell. During time at Speedwell I was always met with kindness, my phone calls were always returned within 24 hours, any questions/concerns were dealt with swiftly and professionally. When I needed to dispute a charge, I was met with respect and understanding. There was never any weird charges, or surprise fees. The staff was always knowledgeable and honest about fees and questions/concerns. Anytime I needed something, someone was there to help. This was the most stress free living experience I have ever had. It was so refreshing to have a living complex that understood the difficulties of being a college student. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and honesty.

Lived here for 2 consecutive years at Speedwell and never had an issue. Management is awesome, Haley goes above and beyond to make sure residents are happy. Maintenance is great - whenever there are any issues, they’re here usually within the week to fix them. Affordable for college students and definitely the best choice.

Horrible place to stay. They do not care about your opinion. Maintenance doesn’t even know how to change a battery in a smoke detector. They assign random roommates without giving a warning to residents who are already in the apartment. Had a crazy roommate who bit me and when I told the leasing office they just ignored it. Also was told no smoking in the apartment and yet the same roommate was gassing up the whole apartment and brought this up to the leasing office and they ignore it as well. But they are pretty clean when you move in but just know it wasn’t them who cleaned it, it was more than likely the person that moved out the leasing office won’t do anything for you.
