This is my second year living at Junction 49, and it will absolutely be my last. In just two years, I’ve been moved between three different apartments for completely different reasons, which already says a lot about the lack of stability here. During my first year, I woke up in the middle of the night to my apartment essentially turning into a river. A fire triggered the sprinkler system, and due to leaking pipes, water flooded the unit. What made it worse was management’s response — or lack of it. Despite the apartment being clearly unlivable, we were left there for days while construction was actively happening around us, with cabinets being ripped out and repairs happening in real time. It eventually became clear that management was simply unaware of the construction going on in my apartment. When I first moved in, the building wasn’t even fully finished, so we were placed in a temporary unit. That meant moving all of my belongings multiple times. It’s been constant disruption instead of a stable place to live. The construction quality is also a serious issue. Every apartment I’ve been in has had noticeable gaps between the flooring and the walls, making it easy for bugs to get in. During the winter, expect ongoing ant problems, and in the spring, it turns into an influx of millipedes. It’s not occasional — it’s something you deal with regularly. Security is another major concern. Despite claims of having security, break-ins still occur. My roommate had their car window smashed, and I’ve personally stopped bringing my car here because it simply doesn’t feel safe. To be fair, not all of the issues come from management — a significant part of the problem is the residents themselves. The level of immaturity here is honestly unbelievable. These are supposed to be full-grown adults, yet the behavior reflects the complete opposite. There is constant littering, trash left in hallways, stairwells, and common areas, and visible damage to property that clearly comes from careless or destructive behavior. It doesn’t feel like people take any responsibility for the space they live in. Instead of treating it like a shared living environment, many treat it like a temporary playground with no consequences. That kind of environment wears on you over time and makes it hard to feel comfortable in your own living space. Meanwhile, management sends out frequent warnings about trash, parking, and pet waste, but nothing actually improves. The same issues persist with little to no visible enforcement, which only enables the behavior to continue. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. For the price you pay, you expect a certain level of quality, safety, and management — and Junction 49 falls far short. Between the lack of proper management response and the behavior of residents, it’s not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable or stable living environment.

Anytime I've had a question or needed assistance, she's been quick to help and has always made me feel like a priority. It's clear she truly cares about the residents and takes pride in what she does. Thank you, Asmeret, for all of your hard work and for making such a positive impact. You're a huge asset to the leasing office!

This apartment has so many issues but also some things that make up for it. For the bad, parking is awful, they are very strict about towing and the company they use for towing do not make it easy to get your vehicle back. While they also charge 60$ for parking, they can’t make sure your car is safe. Out of my 3 roomates they have all gotten their car damaged in the parking deck and junction has done little to help. The build quality of the building is also questionably at best. Hot water lasts no longer than 5 minutes during the winter, and AC can break down during the summer. Getting packages delivered is also spotty because delivery people have a hard time getting into the building. Also, do not let them fool you into thinking the pool view apartments are fun because they are the farthest thing from it. People party frequently in the pool area and most of the time they aren’t residents. The good however is that management has gotten better and the front desk people do their best to help. The best thing apart junction is the maintenance team. They are absolutely amazing and I can’t say enough about ow awesome they are. With all that said, don’t live here. Live at rush.

i’m not really sure where to start this review. This place has been an absolute nightmare to live in the only upside to it would be how helpful and quick the maintenance is. I have no complaints about them and how respectful and timely they can be especially living with all girls. They make sure we feel comfortable that they are in our space. My car was broken into. I called The front desk to get cameras and they told me that only the police could fix the issue. most of the time all doors that need key fobs are unlocked and easy accessible from the outside. for the first six months I lived at junction, parking deck gate was ran into and broken for months, and it was easy accessible. trash rooms are an absolute nightmare there’s built-up trash everywhere. There has been dog poop left in the Hallway of the floors, the stairwell is an absolute nightmare, where people will throw their trash down the steps. The parking deck has trash everywhere. Is extremely disgusting to live in. Don’t really know where to start with parking. They tried to enforce parking passes for guest at the beginning of our lease term, which was August 2025. They quickly realized the maintenance it would take with all the request. If you have someone staying more than two hours, which they have very limited parking on the first floor. We did not need to get guest parking passes up until school came out and they randomly decided to enforce them without any email and my boyfriend’s car got towed even though he was on the sixth floor where guests are supposed to be and we had to pay $300 when there were other cars that did not have parking pass. Two weeks later, I noticed guest were parking on the fifth floor, taking up residence spot and they were not towed. We have had multiple people create their own parking spot in the midst of The parking deck lane that they have I have almost gotten into a wreck every single time I go out the parking deck because a very obviously needed one lane parking deck is two lanes on both sides. My roommate’s boyfriend car was towed because he was barely on the fifth floor closer to the sixth floor and he had to pay. If You were looking to live here please save your money. It’s such a money grab ann ann it’s not worth it at all. You would have better luck somewhere else.

I recently moved here at the start of summer, and it wasn’t a smooth process. The unit I wanted at first was cancelled — they said it wasn’t available anymore after signing the lease. I was also in a hurry to get here, but that’s on me. The communication was all over the place — calling, emailing, texting. It wasn’t as smooth as I thought it would be. The front desk employees are nice and lively, just a little unprofessional and younger. I feel like they need more people to handle other tasks, especially if you’re trying to reach them online — it takes them forever to respond. My building and unit are clean, not much to say about that. I’ve heard parking can be tough during college season; for now it seems fine. The parking fees feel a bit stupid since I’m already paying so many other fees. People are nice so far and the amenities are great. The one thing I hate is the speeding in the parking lot — it’s a tight corner but people seem to speed through without caution. Just be careful getting through the parking lot. And the visitor parking lot is a bit smaller, just be mindful of inviting people.
