New England Apartments, bellingham-wa

New England Apartments is a great complex with many perks and amenities. I love that my unit has a fireplace, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and an incredible view. I haven't had any issues with appliances for the 1.5 years I've lived here. Management has been helpful and easy to work with. nice and safe walk to campus. takes me 13-20 minutes to walk to class depending on which side of campus I'm walking to. Nice proximity to nature and trails.

The layout for my unit is very spacious and is in the perfect spot for a Western student. I like that it's far away enough from campus to not be easily disturbed but close enough to walk to class every day. The utilities are in good condition, and we haven't had any major issues so far! We did need our fridge door to be fixed, but it was an easy fix. Additionally, the property manager for New England is really nice and very easy to communicate with! I think it's best for groups where at least one roommate has a car because a lot of the grocery stores don't connect to the bus stop that drops you off by the apartments (otherwise you just walk 6 minutes from BT). For college apartments, I think these are on the nicer side in terms of price and value.

The apartment is very spacious for four people! The bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen and living room are pretty big. The maintenance workers are also quick to fix things if something breaks. The free parking is great too and very nice for those of us with cars. The apartment wasn't cleaned very well when we moved in but besides that we have had a good experience living in New England apartments.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the New England Apartments. RPM is quick to respond and address maintenance issues. For a student, having a bus stop extremely close by is very helpful, as well as the general proximity to campus.

The management is wonderful. When a pipe burst and two buildings were left without water for about a day, they quickly delivered gallons of water to each apartment and set up plenty of outhouses. They also kept us updated via email throughout the whole day. Plus, they gave everyone pizza gift cards. Super thoughtful and professional. The apartments themselves are in good condition and the maintenance guy is quick and friendly. Rent isn't too bad, either. New England Apartments is definitely a good housing option in Bellingham. 10/10 would recommend.
