Truly the best experience in Wampus! The 4x4 floorplan was the best one with incredible views, and I also got super lucky with my roommates so it was a great match. Overall, I loved this place. Maintenance was suuuper quick, in a matter of hours they would fix all our issues. The lobby will be cleaned on weekdays and AC is great. Never had issues with wifi at all. I will say there are minor things like the pool is kinda small but tbh I didn't use it as much, and it's kinda boring like no special amenities, BUT apartments are niceeee, rooms are big, views 10/10 without being overly expensive as the other high-rises. Everyone was super nice and quick to answer questions:)

Why do I pay 65 dollars a month in a compulsory amenity fee, if half of the amenities are not functioning and hardly maintained? Half of the TVs in the lounge do not have remotes. None of the TVs in the upstairs lounge have remotes. If you want to use them, you have to download an app, a different one for the numerous brands of TV, and then some of the TVs just don't turn on. I am not technically illiterate either, trouble shooting and changing the plugs and sockets does not result in any success. Additionally, the large outdoor cinema does not work, and has not since I moved here. Only one of the propane grills has propane at a time, and even then there is a knob missing from the working grill. The sky lounge and lobby areas are rarely cleaned, unless its a weekday. If you are hoping to use an unsticky lounge from alcohol spills or not walk through a miscellaneous puddle on the way to the elevator, you will be disappointed. The main couch in the sky lounge is also filthy and has substantial tears in it. AND there is only one pool cue at the pool table. Last thing- only one of the TVs in the TWO study rooms in the lobby actually work right now. Paying a premium, like all residents here do, for subpar amenities is unacceptable. That being said, I love the maintenance guys as they are speedy and generally helpful, but whoever is in charge of maintaining the amenities and pushing for those things to get done, is not doing a good job, and is costing residents money for services we are not getting.

I am renting at The Lark and I find their treatment of residents to be absolutely unacceptable. At around 1am an extremely loud and persistent beeping noise emerged from the locked maintenance closet in my unit. I contacted emergency maintenance because this noise can be heard all the way from the elevators. They said someone would be there within the hour. No one came, so I contacted them again. “Emergency” maintenance said they won’t be here till open which is at 10am. This noise has been going on for 8 hours straight and counting. Due to their negligence, there’s also a leak from the closet in my unit. It is absolutely impossible to sleep in these conditions and I have nowhere to go, so I’ve sat in the lobby for 8 hours. I wish I could post the video of this sound as well, but I cannot. Why bother having “emergency” maintenance if they only work during business hours?

Though it’s super close to the ut campus, apartments are small and pricy so moving even one block away is worth is to save ~$300. They still have rooms with no window for an absurd price and broken elevators often. This wouldn’t be my first choice off-campus apartment if I did it again.

Decent apartment but they keep raising the prices when the apartment isn't worth that high of a rate. Maintenance was always helpful and pretty quick. Living without a window in those rooms were depressing. The amenities were nothing special and there is barely any study space. Also walls are so thin you can hear anything happening next to you, above you, below you. Elevators were constantly broken and there would be lines of people waiting forever for the one working elevator to come which is annoying when you live on the top floors. The windows in the living room were just facing another apartment. However it's definitely not the worst apartment in west campus and I didn't hate living here.
