About this property
Finding student accommodation isn't only about being close to campus. The place you choose quickly becomes part of your everyday routine, whether you're preparing for lectures, catching up on coursework or spending time with friends after classes. The Priory offers a location that keeps those routines simple, placing students within easy reach of Leeds universities, public transport and the city centre. For anyone looking for accommodation that balances convenience with comfortable living, The Priory is well worth considering.
The Priory student accommodation includes a choice of en-suite rooms, studios and one-bedroom apartments, giving students the flexibility to choose a space that matches both their budget and preferred way of living. Alongside modern accommodation, residents have access to study areas, communal facilities and inclusive utility bills, creating an environment that supports university life without adding unnecessary complications.
Where you live influences much more than your daily commute. It's where assignments get finished, meals are shared with flatmates and evenings are spent unwinding after lectures. The Priory has been developed with those everyday moments in mind, offering accommodation that works throughout the academic year rather than simply providing somewhere to sleep.
Students can choose between en-suite rooms within shared apartments, self-contained studios or private one-bedroom flats. Those who enjoy a more social atmosphere often prefer shared accommodation, while studios and apartments offer greater independence without losing access to the building's communal facilities. Every room is fully furnished, allowing residents to settle in without the hassle of furnishing their accommodation.
Shared spaces around the building provide opportunities to study, relax and meet other residents. Whether you're revising for exams, taking a break in the lounge or spending time in the courtyard during warmer months, The Priory accommodation supports both academic commitments and everyday student life.

Cafés along Woodhouse Lane offer places to grab a coffee between lectures, and nearby restaurants such as Farmhouse provide plenty of dining options without travelling far from the accommodation.
When you're not studying, there are several places nearby to unwind. Woodhouse Moor remains one of Leeds' most popular green spaces for students, while Leeds Central Library offers another quiet place to work outside your room. Students who enjoy keeping active can make use of PureGym Leeds City Centre, and Leeds General Infirmary is close by should healthcare ever be needed during the academic year.
Student accommodation should make everyday life easier rather than more complicated. The Priory combines a convenient location with practical facilities, giving residents accommodation that supports both university work and their time outside lectures.

I have loved living here. Everything is up-to-date and clean, and the building has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The management team are great - communication is always clear, quick and hassle-free, and any minor maintenance issues have been sorted efficiently and thoroughly. The location is great and the price reasonable given the quality of the accommodation. Highly recommended!

I’ve had an amazing experience staying here! The living environment is excellent, and the heating system is incredibly effective, which is a lifesaver during the British winter. A huge shout-out to our current manager, Lucas. He is professional, approachable, and always helpful. I’ve also noticed a significant increase in apartment social events lately—they are well-organized and a lot of fun! It’s a great place to meet people and feel at home. Highly recommended!

I stayed here in 2022/23. Not sure what it's like now, but I thought the building itself was cool & gothic-looking, the staff seemed friendly, and it wasn't too noisy all the time. I did however have a very unsettling experience here. I feel like no matter how I word this, it's just going to sound like a joke or a ghost story to scare people, but I'm being honest! I wouldn't get kicks from that sort of thing. I woke up one night feeling hands gripping my arms, and I saw a figure standing over me that looked like a man. My heart was beating really fast but I couldn't get up, which made it feel as if I was asleep (even though I could see and feel what was happening as clearly as you do when you're awake). It was also difficult to breathe. Then suddenly, the hands and the person were gone and I could sit up. I was fully awake but my heart was still beating fast. It was as if I'd had a nightmare, except it felt more like I was awake for the parts I've described here and asleep very briefly inbetween. The first thing I thought was 'What the hell was that? I've never experienced anything like that before'. For a while, I actually thought the place was haunted (even though I don't really believe in that sort of thing) because it seemed like the only explanation, especially with it being an old building as well. But now that I've thought about it, it doesn't make sense that I'd randomly have a nightmare about angry ghosts trying to kill me if I never believed in ghosts. When I told a member of staff about it, they seemed to find it funny (which I can understand from anyone's perspective but mine), but they also didn't seem at all surprised or worried, which I thought was strange. A maintenance man upstairs also seemed to have been listening and was looking at me with an amused expression when we got up there. I didn't finish the story, because being a pretty socially anxious person then, I felt uncomfortable with a stranger watching & listening. So I didn't hear the thoughts of anyone there about it. It could of course be that I was being paranoid and it was just a nightmare, but if anyone with access to my room besides myself wanted to hide anything, creating a scenario that doesn't sound very believable when you retell it would be a smart way to do it.

Really nice place it is quiet and I can get my study done. I like the facilities and it is kept clean. The heating is very good in the rooms and I would recommend this place to live in as a student as it is quite close to the university. Also the staff are really nice.
