About this property
Choosing student accommodation in Exeter usually comes down to two things: how far you need to travel each day and how comfortable the room feels once lectures are over. Queen Street Studios Exeter works well on both counts. The address keeps the University of Exeter, Exeter College, supermarkets, cafés and the city centre within easy reach, while every room gives you a private kitchen, bathroom and study area.
If independent living matters more than sharing a flat, Queen Street Studios student accommodation Exeter offers studio rooms that let you keep your own routine from the day you move in. Bills are included in the rent, the building has dedicated study and social spaces, and everyday errands rarely take long because most of the city centre is only a short walk away.
Queen Street Studios student living Exeter is located at:
Room 37, South West Business Centre, Queen Street, Exeter EX4 3SR, United Kingdom
Queen Street has remained one of Exeter's busiest student areas for years. Exeter Central Railway Station, cafés, supermarkets, local buses and the main shopping streets are all nearby, so most daily journeys stay short. The University of Exeter is also within comfortable walking distance, which makes early lectures far less of a rush than they might be from accommodation outside the city centre.
Accommodation affects your routine long after move-in day. The right address can save time every single week.
Here's why many students shortlist Student accommodation Queen Street Studios Exeter:
Every room is a private studio with its own kitchen, bathroom and study area.
Rent includes electricity, gas, heating, water, Wi-Fi and contents insurance, making monthly budgeting much easier.
Exeter city centre is only a short walk away for shopping, food and everyday errands.
Study rooms, communal lounges, games areas and outdoor spaces give you somewhere else to spend time outside your room.
Regular resident events make it easier to meet people during the academic year.
CCTV, secure entry, on-site management and 24-hour security are available throughout the property.
Every Queen Street Studio Exeter includes a furnished bedroom, private bathroom, kitchen, study desk and storage. The main difference between room categories is the amount of space available.

I stayed here over summer and even the few months I was here I have never felt more disgusted and disrespected. The rooms are tiny and clinically white, mine was restricted view looking at a dirty wall with no sunlight. The window I did have was right above the bin storage so it stunk and there was always flies coming through the window. The bin stores were always overflowing. People would not shut the door properly and leave bin bags on the floor and not in the bins. Seagulls get into the bags and choke on the plastics when trying to find food. After cleaning up other peoples rubbish and asking reception what they could do Valerie told me "no one asked you to do that" and when I call the help number they say it is not high priority. You cannot win with these people. When I moved in I had no hot water for 3 days as it was also a low priority problem! The chair was stained yellow and looked like someone has urinated on it. The only apology was from the maintenance man. Reception is completely incompetent, sending emails alerting to early closure of the front desk and the email only arriving at 10pm. Moreover, when my partner misplaced their key I asked reception for a temporary replacement not only did they deny this but also said "If you get locked out I will call security and tell them not to allow you into the building" because of the call out fee. Valerie was consistently rude and patronising, not just a bad day. One dryer would always break, having two washing and drying machines for the whole building is ridiculous, I cannot imagine what this is like during term time. Even after being 'repaired' it would still break twice a month. Things are always breaking - there was a pipe leak within the common room. It is a disgrace to make people pay £245 per week for being patronised in poor quality housing.

The location is great, very close to the city centre and supermarkets. Only 15-20 minutes walk from the university. The studios are spacious and very convenient. The area downstairs is very cozy and comfortable to spend time with friends. The staff is very friendly and the overall experience is very pleasant⭐️

The location is by far the best ive come across in exeter - walkable standen to the university and city centre. The room have everything one needs ans the staff is friendly. The community room is nice as well, with a large TV and a Pool table.

For my final year at university, I chose to live at Queen Street studios, and it truly was, without exaggeration, the best year of my life. Aside from the incredible location, gorgeous rooms (and views!), and common area, the aspect of it that really made my time at queen street the best year of my life was Annette. Where do I begin with Annette? She was truly like family to me. Anytime I’d have an issue with my room (which was so rarely!) she’d have it sorted in hours. The number of times I’d go to her when uni got hard and I needed someone to talk to are too high to count. She treats Queen Street like her own home, and the students as her family. I have met friends at Queen Street (through the events she works so hard to organise!) that I’ll have for life. I have so much love for Annette and for Queen Street studios, as does every single person I’ve spoken to who lives here. It is at SUCH a perfect location (15 mins from uni and 5 mins from town! With M&S, Tesco, and a Co-Op nearby), and the vibes are the best you can get in Exeter because of Annette. I have lived in two other student accommodations prior to Queen Street, and I was really disappointed by the quality/cleanliness of the rooms and the surrounding area, as well as the reception’s general care/attentiveness to the students. Queen street was universes away from this. I’m so incredibly grateful for my time here, and will hold it so close to my heart for the rest of my life.

What a great stay, beautiful staff very friendly. Rooms well presented and plenty of room to move. Facilities to be able relax and cook in a private court yard. Close to everything in the Main Street but still very private.
