I’m currently living at The Pepper Mill and I can honestly say it has been an excellent experience. The building is modern, very well-maintained and feels genuinely secure, which makes day-to-day life really comfortable. My studio was spotless on arrival, well laid out, and has everything you need to live independently. The location is also a big advantage: there are plenty of shops and useful amenities nearby, and getting around is straightforward. The on-site team is one of the highlights — always friendly, professional and helpful whenever you need anything. Overall, it’s great value for money for the quality you get. I would 100% recommend The Pepper Mill to any student looking for a clean, safe and comfortable place to live.

My experience at The Pepper Mill has been outstanding. I live in a Classic Studio, which includes a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom (with a large shower and heated towel rack) and an exceptional environment for sleep (low noise levels, blackout blinds, and a comfortable bed). There is plenty of storage, and the studios come well-furnished with enough space to add personal touches. The Accommodation Manager (Katie) and Residents Service Assistant (Fiona) are always friendly and helpful, and made settling into the accommodation a smooth process, despite ongoing construction at the time. The location is out of the way of city bustle, but with excellent transport links, including a bus stop nearly right outside. You will also find a Tesco superstore, lots of lovely cafés and cosy pubs a short walking distance. I thoroughly recommend The Pepper Mill to anyone who wants a stress-free living environment to decompress and unwind.

I’ve been living at The Pepper Mill in Edinburgh for about 4 months and honestly I’d rate it a 10/10. I’m in a studio so I’ve got my own kitchen and bathroom, and everything’s been really clean and well looked after. The rooms are genuinely good and the facilities are great too. There are loads of activities going on so it’s easy to get involved and meet people if you want, and the staff are honestly so nice and helpful. Also the ping pong table is such a bonus — I use it way more than I expected. Any time I’ve needed something, the response has been really fast. I’ve still got a few months left but so far I’m really happy living here and I’d definitely recommend it.
