The administrative team at Hello Student supported us through a very stressful last-minute booking to bridge the time before our city flat became available (1 month). Mathias especially made us feel very welcome and organised several events during our short but enjoyable stay, encouraging students to socialise. We stayed in a studio on the second floor and enjoyed spectacular views of the castle. It was spacious enough for a couple and had everything you'd need. We appreciated that it is very centrally located, and the gym, common room, and cinema were a huge bonus as well!

Everything about this accommodation is perfect, the room is spacious and always filled with sunshine( not to mention the view of castle), great facilities to study and enjoy your time with friends, super convenient to go anywhere, and the most welcoming reception!

I am extremely disappointing with the management team, especially Molly. The lack of communication and understanding from the management team is both disappointing and unprofessional. Due to personal reason, I missed the tenancy signing date. However, I clarified the situation as soon as I can. I was initially asked if I was still looking to stay and was told that my booking could be reinstated with my confirmation. However, later in the same email, I was told that my application could not be processed. This inconsistency and poor communication have caused me a great deal of frustration. Based on this experience, I personally cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Water Leakage and Mold Issues: Upon moving into my accommodation, I immediately faced issues such as water leakage on the floor and mold growth on the balcony due to the lack of mats. Despite continuous communication with the accommodation management, these issues were not resolved. I paid all my rent as agreed, based on the promise from the manager that I would receive a £100 voucher as compensation. However, when I vacated the room on June 7th, the manager addressed me with a very poor attitude and suggested that I was not entitled to the compensation, which was extremely frustrating. This treatment is unacceptable, and I question the quality of your service. Subletting Request: In May, I submitted a request to sublet my room. The front desk staff initially appeared helpful and provided the necessary procedures. However, my subtenant only received the contract on May 28th, despite our application being submitted two weeks earlier. The deadline for signing was May 30th, which my subtenant missed due to surgery. Despite her urgent need to sublet the room, our subsequent emails explaining the situation were met with inconsistent and unhelpful responses from the front desk. This lack of professionalism and reliability caused significant inconvenience to both my subtenant and me, leaving me with serious doubts about the competence of your front desk staff. Maintenance Issues: In April, my stovetop broke, and I was assured it would be replaced. Ironically, the replacement occurred on my first day of vacating the premises, which indicates a severe delay and lack of promptness in addressing maintenance issues.

Wonderful place to live in for students! I have visited other friends’ studio, and always found 27 is the most cost-effective place! It is close to the gs, Prince Street and castle, and own good and new indoor environment, public areas are always clean and neat, and I love the indoor layout. Besides, always receive some small gifts in the festival! And the team here are quite nice and helpful, providing help for every time I need! A warm accommodation to live, highly recommended!
