West Pine Lofts, st-louis-mo

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel I have no other option at this point. I am currently living at West Pine Lofts and have been dealing with ongoing harassment from a downstairs neighbor, including repeated wall banging and disturbances during normal daily activities. I have contacted the leasing office multiple times, sent numerous emails, and followed all instructions such as reaching out to security. Despite this, no effective action has been taken to resolve the situation. This issue has been persistent and has significantly impacted my ability to peacefully live in my apartment. It is frustrating to feel that resident concerns are not being taken seriously. I am simply asking for a safe and respectful living environment, which should be a basic expectation. I hope management will take this issue seriously and provide a proper resolution. If not, I will have to escalate this further.

I have been waiting to put in a review until I have lived here for at least a year. West pine lofts overall is a nice place to live, tho like many apartment complexes you run into some issues. I want to personally shout out Mia Snider the Assistant Property Manager here. Mia has been the only staff member still here during my year almost 2 year living here speaks volumes in itself. The way she go out her way and help the tenants here is excellent! And should be studied by other apartment complex managers. When I first moved in I had an issue that maybe would have caused me to leave. I had countless conversations with at the time said property manager and she could care damn less. The only person that reached out to me and found me a solution when she didn’t have to is Mia. She literally came in on a Sunday to help with my issue. I’m not going to reveal the issue because Mia made sure it was taking care of but the point is it’s not always where you live but it’s about the staff that’s there. Without Mia kindness and forward thinking and knowledge about this place, This place wouldn’t be as great. If you are looking for a place to live with nice amenities, parties and a nice size apartment this is the place. Ask for Mia you won’t be disappointed. Also the other staff Raiyonna,Felicia and Marcus is great as well!

Rented apartment for 3 nights through third party. Place is clean. Bed comfortable. Water faucets provide a very small stream of water in bathrooms and the worst in kitchen. One bathroom had no shampoo, etc in containers in shower. First night trying to enter with security code was very frustrating. Nice resident, young man helped us access the building and walked us to our apartment. We had called after hours number numerous times and never got an answer. It wasn't for his kindness in helping who knows when ir if we would have gotten in. Yes, we had the apps loaded and emails printed off. In short, if you want to stay here short term, we do not recommend.

Pictures speak for themselves. Disgusting building, lack of security, and staffed with liars. They threw away my mail after giving me the wrong mailbox key! They never gave me the right one after numerous attempts to correct this. The people working at the front office are painfully slow physically and mentally. They told me there weren’t enough parking spaces though the lot was never full the entire time I lived there. Oh and to top it all off they charged me a cleaning fee when my room was disgusting from the start. Tried to dispute this but they threatened to send it to collections. When I went to pay the fee it magically jumped from the agreed amount of $72 to $150. I had to harass them to bring it back down. Make sure you have a paper trail with them because they love to deny, deny, deny. Please do yourself a favor and just don’t lease from here. There are much better student housing options. My entire experience at WPL was a headache.
