I like it here for the most part. Staff is nice and helpful, delivering is easy, it is close to campus/all of my classes, and it’s not that loud. My only complaint would be that the walls don’t fully connect to the ceiling and are very thin. If you hate loud roommates, this place wouldn’t be for you. You barely get any privacy because they’re so thin. I also think the sizing of rooms in comparison to how much we’re paying is ridiculous since the rooms are small!

Before you move in, pray you don’t have maintenance issues that you can’t solve yourself. Twice since living here in the past two years we’ve had issues with our washing machine and both times it seems there was no urgency in solving it or even a dismissiveness. I normally don’t write reviews like this but I’ve gotten frustrated with how many times I’ve been told the problem is fixed, only to run a load and it’s not working. It has been 4 times now in the same week that I’ve been left with soaking wet clothes that I have to wring and dry out for days while they get ruined and mildewy. It seems like there is no communication between staff and maintenance either as no one understands the issues the machine has when I constantly reiterate that I have videos of the issue to make it easier to pinpoint. I need them to run a load with their own clothes at this point before they tell me it’s fixed again so I’m not wasting my own time dealing with this situation. There should be no reason I should have to pay to take them to a laundromat for how high the rent is.

It’s kinda concerning to see all the fake 5 star reviews reviews here, and while it is unfortunate they couldn’t figure out a way to allow people impacted by COVID-19 to break their lease, I understand that as a brand new complex The Grad’s financial situation probably isn’t looking too good itself. As someone who still has in person classes this upcoming semester I’m looking forward to moving in next month, and I have have nothing but good experiences throughout the lease process and they were ready and willing to answer any questions I had. Update: Move in was terrible. Even the “low contact” option forced me to wait in line for several hours with at least a hundred other people. Currently looks like half the building has been in a power outage for over 3 hours.

I had signed my lease renewal back in November, but due to some life changes I had to make the decision to move out. I spoke with Brandon on the phone, and he was super helpful with any questions I had. I've been living here since 2023 but the new management has made everything around the complex better overall, compared to before. They've handled situations like mine that could've been potentially stressful, with such great professionalism and were great with accommodating me. I really appreciate the help!

New property management company is excellent - they are great to work with and communicate professionally. 12 of our 13 student-athletes from the men's basketball team reside at The Grad and all have had tremendously positive experiences. Property is well-kept and provides great amenities for anybody, but particularly students. Could not recommend enough.
