I lived here for 1 year so far and I love it Especially because I can walk to Providence Park for Timbers games instead of finding parking with traffic The rent is really good, and the apartment is nice. It is an older building but they put new floors and appliances and there is lots of cabinets and closet space. We live in the Tower with thick walls and big windows. The laundry room on every floor is convenient, the new machines are better than the old ones Yes sometimes there is noise or smells in the hallway because people live here, that happens everywhere in an apartment building. And the fire alarm goes off when people cook and open their door instead of the windows like management says (it works when my girlfriend accidentally burned something). I don't have any problems with living here it is better than other places I lived before and cheaper

Had a great tour of the property with Andrew. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. It was also nice to see the manager available and interacting with residents during my visit, which gave the community a welcoming feel. Overall, it was a really positive experience!

While living in the Tower for three years, my rent only increased once, by $25. The building is operated by a nonprofit! The current Community Manager and leasing team have made many improvements over the past year or so, and building upgrades are ongoing. I've also made several friends here through community events. Other things I love: No pet rent, just a refundable deposit. Quiet and cute neighborhood, close to campus. Apartment layouts are comfortable with tons of storage and counter space - when I moved in I was surprised that my studio actually felt bigger than my previous apartment despite technically being smaller. More freedom than on-campus housing, without having to pay Portland market-rate rent on a student budget.

I’ve lived here for eight months. This is an excellent place to live. I’ll be renewing my lease in a new unit in the tower this summer. I currently live in the plaza. Please don’t be put off by negative reviews like I almost was. I can only speak from my experience, but my experience has been amazing. The management is kind and responsive, remembers me by name, and always listens to my concerns and helps in any way they can. Pricing is reasonable (the best you’ll find in the area), the community is awesome, the building is well-maintained/ in the process of being improved where needed. Here are some of the things I love about where I live: The staff who are so friendly, the fun community events, the food pantry, the garden, the exercise room, the laundry prices (which are fixed), and the heat lamp in my bathroom! I also love my neighbors, being so close to school, and the area generally. I love being able to walk to the cafe and grocery stores nearby. I love my balcony, and my parking spot, and the dishwasher, and my full-size stove. Life is so beautiful!!! If I had to critique here’s what i’d say: Sometimes the app used to pay for laundry is glitchy and refuses to work. However, there are work arounds and worse case you just take your laundry out, wait an hour, and put it back in. Also, one of the stairwells in the plaza has a slight flooding problem during the wet season so the carpet smells dingy sometimes. They did set up fans and I believe are in the process of fixing it. You may notice some of the reviews mention the hallways smelling like spices. Sometimes they do, personally I love it because it smells like really yummy food!! If this bothers you then it’s something to consider, but any hallway smells have NEVER made it into my unit. Sometimes the fire alarms go off, but that’s kind of par for the course in an apartment building like this, so just have some good slippers you can throw on. They never keep us out of the building for longer than 15 minutes. Occasionally the mail room has weird hours or unexpected closures, whatever. Not a big deal! I mention these for realism, but none of these things have ever caused me distress for longer than 10 seconds. I love my home. Overall: IF YOU WANT TO LIVE HERE DO IT! I have recommended this place to every single one of my student friends and several have since moved in. This is a good community, affordable, with good management. If you’re a student, it doesn’t get better than this. I LOVE YOU GOOSE!!! 💕💕💕

Honestly this place is actually really good, especially if you’re a student. They actually think about what students need which is kinda rare. The Community Assistants always have stuff going on and the events are fun and not awkward. It’s pretty easy to meet people. Management isn’t even bad either, they respond and try to help. Overall vibes are solid
