I lived here last year and I had a mixed experience. They were called college town then. The homes are nice and the walls aren’t super thin like apartments can be. But you can still hear sound. If you are in the downstairs bedroom you WILL hear footsteps or things getting dropped by the roommate above you. Considering that most rooms (I stayed in the 5 bedroom) are upstairs the downstairs roommate hears a lot of noise also from the living room and kitchen. And you’ll have to go upstairs to do your laundry. This was a total party neighborhood, so if you need quiet a lot, I don’t recommend it. The WiFi is not super slow in my experience which is good. I liked the patio it was quite nice and the amenities are great. Private study rooms, golf simulator, huge pool, basketball court etc. Also, this place has a very nice 24/7 gym. There is a bus stop that takes you to campus as well, one of my favorite features. For my biggest complaint: cleanliness I mentioned earlier this neighborhood is a party town, broken bottles are everywhere and they often don’t get picked up for minimum an entire week. Be cautious if you have a dog, there’s a lot of dangerous stuff for them to step on or eat, broken glass mainly. The dumpsters are just not enough for all the residents. They are often overfilled, even the stairs are covered in trash-bags, making it impossible to properly throw your trash away. It smells so far, it travels to the houses nearby. This was the main complaint. Also, management and maintenance were issues. We had a problem with our washer and had to wait nearly 2 months for it to be resolved. That was 2 months of having to go to a friends house or pay money at a laundromat to have my laundry done. Maintenance came 3 times with weeks in between before they finally bought a new one. Luckily, they DID NOT try to charge us for it, we had just moved in. Besides those main issues, this place is very nice, and I recommend it.

If your student needs quiet and privacy, do not lease here. $1,100 a month for the use of a bedroom and bath, but not the living room and kitchen (due to loud, inconsiderate roommates) is no value. "Roommate matching" is a joke. More than once, our student was forced to walk to the clubhouse in the middle of the night (a major safety issue) to get any sleep during the school week.

DO NOT LET YOURSELF/YOUR KIDS LIVE HERE! I genuinely cannot believe I willingly resigned my lease for next year in this awful place. I could sit here for hours and type out detailed grievances with this complex and the utterly negligent company that owns it called SCION GROUP ( I assume their other complexes must be just as horrendous ). I liked living here during the college town days but now the rent is super high and the quality of living here is crazy worse !

Pending* Since being here, I've experienced discrimination when it comes to how the office handles things. Since my neighbors moved here, they've vandalized my vehicle and cause an inconvenience for me to get to my apartment door. I've made the office aware of these situations, and they have not handled it. Therefore, I started double parking to ensure my car isn't dinged or anything. The neighbors complained, and the response from the office for them was very supportive. So much so that they walked the parking lot and issued me a warning for double parking. I presented them with pictures of the neighbors doing the same, and they never issued them a warning. So if that's not discrimination and favoritism, I'm not sure what is. They also issued me a warning for no decal. Meanwhile, none of their guest was issued the same. Update: It's hard to believe how lazy, incompetent and disgusting some of the residents are here. They cannot tell the difference between a dumpster and a shipping container with a door. Even in the daytime. No matter how clean the guys in maintenance try to keep the area, it's a losing battle with lazy, ignorant tenants. But it does not help that the office does nothing to address the dumpster/shipping container situation. I'd recommend living in Phase 1 because the "newer" section Phase 2 is always dirty, limited parking because they refuse to make visitors park in a designated area. It's pointless to buy a decal because anyone can park anywhere at any time.

I’ve lived here for 3 years so I think I’m able to give a pretty accurate review. I have never heard a single person talk about redpoint in positive way and that’s for good reason. This is genuinely one of the worst places to live in Oxford. The units are completely outdated, the wood in my bathroom was dry rotted and just fell off, the stove constantly smoked, the ac broke twice, and overall just not good units to live in. I feel bad for the maintenance people because the reason it takes so long is likely because of the sheer amount of things that break on a daily basis. The rent is absolutely outrageous for what you receive. They make resigning so early to prey on your fear of not being able to find housing. These scam-lords will charge you for every little thing. Redpoint would stab you, give you a bandaid, then charge you 500$ for it and ask you to leave a good review. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! There’s so many better options at similar price points, better locations, and amenities that are reliable. The management staff is not easy to work with either. Also the pool water is super gross half the time 🫶
