The Archive, new-haven-ct

Finding reliable housing is one of the most stressful parts of being a travel nurse. I stayed here during my contract and had a great experience. I typically prefer pre-furnished housing, but the New Haven area didn’t have many options that met my needs. Although The Archive does not provide furnished units, they quickly pointed me in the right direction for affordable furniture rentals. Taya conducted a thorough virtual tour, showing me both the units and the facility amenities. Amanda was also very helpful over the phone, answering any additional questions I had. Both buildings are clean, with a welcoming lobby and great amenities. The maintenance team was excellent—I just wish I had gotten their names! All of the staff were friendly, and the move-out process was smooth. I always felt safe and secure in the building and would definitely recommend this apartment to others. It’s also conveniently located near many shops, restaurants, and even a grocery store. I truly enjoyed my time at The Archive!

My daughter just committed to Yale, and we were looking for an apartment close to campus and also close to some essentials like CVS and Starbucks because my daughter loves her coffee. The staff in the office were all very welcoming and did not make us feel rushed. They took the time to show my daughter and I around and to explain all they could offer her and me for some ease of mind. They were very attentive to our needs, and so excited to drive back from Ohio to move my daughter in.

As an international student spending a year at Yale, finding a secure, well-managed apartment with modern amenities was my top priority. I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered The Archive. When I arrived, the leasing team—Amanda, Teya, and Justin—went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their friendliness and professionalism ensured me to settle down in the apartment smoothly. The responsiveness of management truly stands out. When I reported a minor issue with my shower head, a technician arrived within minutes to resolve it. This level of attentive service is exactly what I hope for. Regarding the security, the apartment is very well guarded with electronic access key, CCTV, day time concierge and a night security stationed in the lobby all night. As the building is just completed in a year, everything is blend new and thoughtfully designed to meet the standard of today’s luxury apartment. The decorations are very tasteful. It has plenty of co worker space with focus rooms and equipped with printer. Also the communal areas are including games room (can hold a party of more than 25 persons), mediation area, sauna, a modern well equipped gym and a roof garden equipped with BQQ facilities with a commanding views to the New Haven Green with Yale university as a backdrop. I am very happy to stay here.

The one regret that I have with this place... Is not finding it sooner! You can definitely stop looking at other luxury apartments because this one outdoes them all in amenities, good vibes, and price. I was on the apartment hunt for months and I truly looked at them all; The Elm, Oxford Cam, Novella, Ninth Square... literally, you name it. This one stands out completely in every single way! Immediately after my tour with Desire, I didn’t need any other reason to sign the lease. I appreciated Tristian’s patience and genuine enthusiasm to help me find the perfect apartment layout, as well as Amanda’s quick, friendly, and efficient logistical setup. The move-in was so smooth, and after even just one night here, my deep sleep shot up to almost 3 hours. There is no need to keep apartment searching; look no further than The Archive for your new home!

I’ve had a great experience at The Archive! The staff, especially Amanda, is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of events and activities, making it easy to meet people and engage in the community. The rooftop view is amazing, offering a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, the sauna is a fantastic feature, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Overall, it’s a great place to live with excellent amenities and a welcoming atmosphere!
