I’ve had an overall decent experience living here. The apartment itself is comfortable and has a good layout, with enough space for everyday living. Maintenance is usually responsive, although sometimes it can take a little longer than expected. The property is generally kept clean, but there are occasional issues that could be improved. Noise levels can vary depending on neighbors, but it’s manageable most of the time.

I lived at Grove for a year and moved out on July 16, 2025. On August 5th ,three weeks later a $500 charge appeared on my account for common carpet replacement. This was unexpected, as I had visited the front desk on August 1 to confirm my account status. I was shown a zero balance and told the portal would reflect deactivation in a month. There was no damage during my stay, and I have both move-in and move-out photos showing the carpet was in the same condition. I later learned the carpet was replaced on August 3, and both my roommate and I were charged, even though it wasn't our responsibility. Attempts to contact management have gone unanswered. I am genuinely concerned and disappointed by the charge, especially after hearing from other students who also faced similar issues, something echoed in the property's reviews. I'm seriously considering seeking legal advice and raising public awareness if necessary, as I have strong documentation supporting my case. Still, I hope it doesn't come to that. I'd prefer to resolve this amicably and fairly. I believe that through open, honest communication, a reasonable solution can be reached.

The Grove is the perfect place to live if you’re in you 2nd or 3rd year of undergrad. It is close to campus, and a great price. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the maintenance men are relatively quick with response. They have great amenities like a pool, a tanning bed, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a dog park. Because it is associated with campus housing, dorm rules still apply. I live in low grade two bed room. Though it’s not “upgraded” we just had a new air conditioning unit installed inside and out. They also updated the shower head and sink spout! There is a big variation in room size between my roommates and my room, but we made it work! There is not a ton of provided storage, but additive storage has been beneficial, and I HIGHLY suggest it if you move here and have a lot of stuff. Downside is that the walls are VERY thin and other students tend to talk until late into the night. Other than that, it hasn’t been a bad experience! The Grove is a fine place to live and worth the money, it can just be noisy. I would suggest this place to anyone not in a graduate program!

I signed a lease for this apartment planning to move in on March 13th, but when I received the keys, the apartment was in poor condition: the carpet had cockroaches, the bathtub had rust, the study table was damaged, and the bed was broken. I immediately informed the management, and while some items were replaced after my complaint, the apartment was still not in move-in condition. I then requested to move in starting April 1st and asked if my March payment of $800 could be applied to April since I had not stayed in the apartment at all. Management refused to adjust the payment, stating that the lease had already started, even though I communicated my intended move-in date in advance. As an international student managing everything on my own, this is a significant amount, and it is very difficult to lose this money for a month I did not occupy the apartment. I hope the management will reconsider this situation fairly and work with me to resolve it.

My daughter is a resident and got a new vehicle while living there. She updated her vehicle information in the resident portal and went to the rental office to get a parking pass. They were out of parking passes per one of the staff members. She was given a visitor parking pass instead. Then early this morning, they had her vehicle towed for no parking pass. The one she was given had expired but that was never explained to her that the pass given was temporary. They refused to admit to their error, LIED ABOUT WHAT THE STAFF TOLD MY DAUGHTER and we had to pay $260 to Tri State Towing. They said that Tri State didn't know she was a resident, but the resident services manager Paige Alexander did and she is the one that called to get the vehicle towed. They are the worst apartment complex and I would caution anyone looking for a place to stay to NOT GIVE THEM ONE RED DIME! THEY DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONES, THEY ONLY COMMUNICATE VIA EMAIL AND YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH AI HELP INSTEAD OF A REAL PERSON.
