The floors were completely dirty and the baseboards were not even touched or cleaned in a while. The pictures of the water in the vacuum are from a 10x10 area that we went over with a floor cleaner three times already. We had to clean everything since the people before us didn’t clean a thing. The bedrooms were nice and clean when I moved in but the floor wasn’t cleaned properly so it also was dirty. Love the space this place gives us but if you don’t want to clean the stuff yourself when you move in I wouldn’t be coming here. There was also a lights not working, a dryer that was a fire hazard because of the amount of lint in it, a loose leg on the table we had to tighten, a bar stool missing a part to it and the sink was broken. It ran water but wasn’t stable enough. Overall I think Melbourne commons is a good place to rent but I would recommend hiring a cleaning crew. The apartment should have been cleaned using the past renters deposit because it was nasty and not a welcoming move in. There needs to be a more thorough walk through of apartments to make sure they are SAFE and clean. If the dryer door was able to close then we would have never noticed the amount of lint in the dryer’s exhaust which could have caused a fire.

DO NOT RENT! The people who were there before were right and I should have heeded to their warnings. Between its thin walls, lack of transparency from the VERY BEGINNING with how much you're paying when it comes to utilities, and multiple issues of bugs, broken furniture, water issues, THIN WALLS (where the mirror shelf they have in the restroom got so hot from outside, that my products would melt), and lack of paperwork, it is not a place to go. Truly is style over substance. Lived there in 2020, moved out with their NOTICE TO VACATE form (for Covid reasons) and I'm still getting harassed by them...and I NEVER RECEIVED a closure letter OR MY DEPOSIT BACK even with all the emails asking them about it! Don't know if the video will show, but it's one of those beetle creatures swimming in my toilet.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! They are Money hungry and that’s it! It’s been Two months since I moved out they haven’t given me my deposit back. They don’t care about maintaining their buildings. Everything was filthy and gross when i moved in. They don’t care about you, they JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. They won’t help you in emergencies or move outs. They do not help you find someone and if you find someone for your place they have 10 hidden charges that you will have to pay. They say they are a ‘business’ and do not know how to deal with humans. Pathetic!! Inhumane!!

Beware!! After communicating to my son that his first month rent would be prorated since he was moving in after the 25th day of the month, they dated his lease with a start date of the 23rd so that they could charge him an entire month of rent. When confronted with their verbal agreement (documented in text messages), they said “We apologize for the miscommunication”, but refused to honor their agreement and charged an entire month of rent. I can’t speak to the quality of the apartments, but the management has no scruples or common human decency and will bait you with their pre-signing communication but switch the agreement when they create your lease. So BEWARE!! Wish we had paid more attention to the bad reviews before he signed the lease. I tried to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but this business is not listed with the BBB. That should be a red flag for any prospective tenants.
