University Trails Prairie View, hempstead-tx

As a resident of University Trails, I can truly say I enjoy living here. It sometimes feels like a breath of fresh air compared to all the school events. University Trails is quiet and reserved, but at the same time it still feels like a community throughout the apartment complex. Mrs. Kim and the maintenance team make sure all issues are addressed promptly, and they are very friendly so if you need anything, don't be afraid To ask.

Moved in just over a month ago and it's been a great experience so far. Its located four minutes from campus and the apartment itself is nice and is in excellent condition. The one bedroom apartment offers plenty of space to suit my needs while attending school. Sarah the landlord, has been wonderful to work with in making sure we got settled in. The overall community/complex seems super quiet and cozy.

I have been at University Trails for about a year now and I haven’t had any complaints! The management is very attentive and cooperative with their residents. Maintenance is always on time when I need work done in the apartment.

I lived here for 2 years and it was by far the worst experience I've had. PV should be ashamed for partnering up with these outside entities who have no problem getting over on students. The apartments are subpar and roach/cricket infested. Any time I needed maintenance to come out and fix something, they would leave a mess behind and I'd have to clean up after them. Additionally, Kimberly is what I would describe as "nasty-nice." She can be nice one minute, but rude and condescending the next. She's dishonest and will try to get over on you any way that she can. She tried to get away with taking my deposit, but I had to go to the higher ups to keep that from happening. Similar to what someone else said, she would also have people come into my apartment without a days notice or my permission. It would just be a random message same day or a couple minutes before the encounter where she would tell me people were coming to see my apartment and to "get ready." It's sad that we as BLACK college students have to go through this just to have a place where we can lay our heads. I know money is tight, especially while you're in college, but if you can help it, please don't move here. Kimberly doesn't care about you, she just wants your money. She has all these high expectations for the tenants, but she doesn't want to be held to the same standard. STAY AWAY! And to PV, do better for your students. These trashy apartments aren't worth as much as you're charging. If I could rate this place a 0/5 I would in a heart beat.

Management is amazing. The housing is located in a quiet area, which is great being a student. I have been a resident here for almost 2 years and will definitely recommend this place to any off campus student!
