I only received $75 back out of my $575 security deposit, even though my roommates and I thoroughly cleaned the entire apartment and didn’t need any painting done. We were each charged $300 for painting and $200 for cleaning, which makes no sense considering the condition we left the place in. I reached out three separate times about the deposit with no response at all. The amenities also aren’t worth the extra cost. Overall, very disappointed with how everything was handled. I wouldn’t recommend renting here unless they make major improvements in communication and fairness.

Do not live here. They scam you with a nearly $300 “amenity fee” for a couple boxes of donuts twice a month. You’re forced into a 12-month lease, but in July they kick you out halfway through the month while still charging you for the entire month’s rent. I lost two-thirds of my security deposit because, apparently, cleaning a college apartment magically costs $800 — split between me and three roommates. They lure you in with TVs and furniture, but don’t forget you’re basically living on top of train tracks, so good luck sleeping through the 3 a.m. train slams. This place is nothing but a money grab that preys on college kids. Absolute rip-off — live literally anywhere else.

I have lived at the Boden Apartments for the last three years and it's been the best college living experience. The apartments come fully furnished, have high quality finishes such as granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, etc. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathrooms. The staff are very accommodating/ efficient to all of their tenants needs. There are several great amenities they have to offer such as a work out room, study hubs and private study rooms, computer lab with free printing, movie theater, and free parking. It's also a very quick walk to campus! There are many other great perks to living at The Boden, these are just a few! For any college student looking for a place to live, I would highly recommend living at The Boden.

I’ve lived here for about 2 years now and loved it, from the ease of moving into a fully furnished apartment, to being paired with roommates that I love ( they consider things like early bird/night owl, personalities, etc). The walk from the boden to Gamble (business building) is only a 10 minute walk, which has saved me a lot of gas money, and the stress of trying to find a parking spot on campus. Overall I highly recommend living here! You won’t regret it!

Lived here for about 2 years, amenities were nice and well kept. Apartments were small for the price and the furniture wore and tore very easily. Also, when I moved out we did have minor paint chipping and the building manager took about half of my deposit and my roommates which totaled to be about $800. Make sure you take a video of your apartment before fully moving in :)
