The apartment manager often forgets she has a job, doesn't return phone calls and maintenance often is refused to ever get done. do not live here unless you enjoy fixing appliances. I would leave a zero star review if possible, the absolute defintion of overpriced. also all security goes out the door when you realize the main gate doesn't close and the car gates short circuit every time it rains, allowing pretty much anyone in whenever they want. I can not wait to leave this place for good

CV is currently in the process of renovating their apartments a few at a time, which is finally addressing most of the quality concerns that have been raised in previous reviews. If you can get a renovated apartment, then it's hands-down nicer than the dorms; if not, then you might consider looking elsewhere. The office staff, I will agree, are terrible slackers; their office hours are dreadfully short, and they don't follow those hours very consistently. When you do manage to get a hold of them, however, they are surprisingly helpful and understanding; so, not *too* many points lost there. Additionally, the maintenance guy responds to requests as promptly as could be expected (consistently within 24 hours, in my experience). The security is more for deterrence than anything else, although I hesitate to point out any specific flaws online. On the plus side, though, their track record is excellent, and the police outpost next door probably helps; to the best of my knowledge, CV has never had any break-ins or stolen cars (unlike a lot of the rental houses in the area). All in all, for a price directly comparable to that of living in the dorms, it's a solid choice. If you don't want to join a fraternity or sorority, risk living in a rental house, or have to drive to/from Riverfront or some other distant place, then CV is definitely worth considering.

Was here for ~2years, great place, convenient especially as a kettering student RA pretty responsive, manager‘s great, and so is the maintenance Officer. All in all will most likely be back whenever I’m back here visiting my Alma mater✌🏾

The closet apartments to kettering University. That is the only good thing about it. Customer service is slow and it seems only two people are running the whole apartments which is insufficient. For what they charge it seems unreasonable. Most of the apartments need renovation and maintenance which they don't do at all. It is cheaper than dorms so can save some money.

Campus Village might claim that they're running renovations every couple years, but they're extremely slow to get them done, and many things are broken in every apartment I've visited. A lot of repairs done aren't done right; duct tape type stuff you could do yourself with less of a hassle. They act like a week and a half is a short time to wait for something to be repaired, and often repairs stretch to four weeks. Some apartments have ants, some have had serious fruit fly infestations. The best way to get them to tell you how your repairs are going seems to be publicly whining on the Facebook page. They don't communicate about your specific stuff much otherwise. The one thing campus village does alright is security, they don't have car break-ins like you might experience off campus. But to maintain this security, it's fairly inconvenient to get in and out of the complex (only one walking entrance at night now). Overall, it's cheaper than the dorms by a little, and you can save a lot by cooking your own food (if you're lucky enough to have your stove, fridge, and sink/dishwasher function all term). Significantly more expensive than most Flint rental homes, but also more secure.
