Over the course of my residency, I have encountered repeated issues that demonstrate a concerning lack of transparency and accountability. One of the most frustrating aspects has been the insufficient methods of communication available to residents. It is unnecessarily difficult to reach management, and important concerns often go unanswered or are addressed only after significant delays. Residents should have reliable and accessible ways to communicate with management, especially regarding financial matters and maintenance issues. Additionally, I have been extremely disappointed by the addition of miscellaneous charges to my account without any prior notification or explanation. It is unacceptable to expect residents to pay unexpected fees without being informed of what they are for or when they were assessed. Transparent billing practices should be a basic standard, not an exception. I am also concerned by the continued increases in rent while the quality of the apartments remains stagnant. Charging higher rates while providing outdated appliances and failing to make meaningful property improvements is difficult to justify. Residents should not be expected to pay premium prices for apartments equipped with aging appliances that have long exceeded modern standards. Taken together, these issues create the impression that the property prioritizes maximizing revenue over providing quality housing and fair treatment to its residents. Because of my experience, I cannot recommend this apartment complex to prospective tenants. In particular, I would strongly discourage new college students from signing a lease here. Many students are renting for the first time and may not be familiar with lease agreements, billing practices, or tenant rights. In my opinion, the lack of communication, unexpected charges, and rising costs create an environment where inexperienced renters may be placed at a financial disadvantage. Now all of these matters do not fall on the current management. I lived at Bellamy for almost 3 years and I encountered issues my entire residency. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements meaningful improvements in communication, billing transparency, property maintenance, and resident relations. Until substantial changes are made, I will continue to advise others to carefully consider alternative housing options before choosing this community.

The new property manager is incredible. Her name is Elizabeth and she is so engaged with all of us residents. She truly makes us feel like we are at home. As someone who doesn’t have parents and who is doing this all myself, it’s nice to have someone like elizabeth to hold my hand through all the big struggles and changes of moving in. She made everything smooth along with Meghan and the entire team is such a joy to work with. Elizabeth now will invite residents and students in for bagels and drinks of the week and she is so engaged with us and makes us feel loved ❤️ The entire team is so enjoyable and definitely is making changes that are better for our community :)

This is the worst living experience I have ever had. They charge you for anything they possibly can. THEIR fridge broke, left us without a fridge and freezer for almost 2 weeks. They did not reimburse us for anything and then went in and did a “inspection” on other things and charged us for things we payed for last year that they NEVER CAME TO FIX after we already payed it. DO NOT RENT WITH BELLAMY FOR HAWKSNEST!!!! They don’t put your mail up and constantly lose letters and your mail. This is the most unorganized apartment complex I have ever lived in. I have lived in both Bellamy and hawksnest so please take my advice and do not live here. The mold in these buildings is also very bad and made me a my roommates sick my sophomore year of college. When i first moved into hawksnest the ac does not blow in my room, therefore i was left with it being 93 degrees with no ac at all, where my room sat at 85 degrees and now that the heat is starting to rise again the refuse to get someone to follow up and fix the issue. And would not provide a portable ac unit to help cool down my room so that I wouldn’t sweat to death at night. Please please please do not live here. If you are thinking about moving your college student here or moving in yourself find somewhere else. This was absolutely terrible!!!

Bellamy is so great!! The management is so kind and helpful and just recently they have started to do fun drinks of the week in the office for all the residents!! I am super excited to see what is to come for Bellamy, the people are so kind and super approachable. Also side note but maintenance is super helpful and efficient. All these things make it so great living at Bellamy.

Nice complex, have friends that live here so I’m always around! I thought about moving in because I love it there but my family lives so close that it doesn’t make sense financially. I did start the application process when I was considering it and the office staff was so kind! Management is new but they were very helpful and got answers for me even if they didn’t know right away. Highly recommend!
