The community atmosphere is social but still manageable, and it’s easy to meet people if you’re new to the area. Overall, Campus Village offers good value for student housing in Big Rapids. If you’re looking for a convenient, straightforward place to live close to campus with amenities that actually matter, it’s a strong option.

I JUST moved in about a week ago and it has been a terrible experience to say the least. I did a sublease but before the girl could even move out and finish cleaning they wanted to move me in. There was trash piled outside the back door and I was told by the previous tenant that they would come get it but the office said it was her responsibility and it is not a priority for them. I had to quote my lease, Big Rapids Rental Codes, and threaten to not pay my rent before they actually cleaned it up. Just when I thought it was over I founded out one of the bedrooms that was locked when I moved in is trashed and disgusting. They clearly didn’t check the unit before allowing anyone to move in. I am livid. This is unacceptable. Attached are pictures of the bedroom and it is so much worse in person.

I've lived here for 5 years only because it's convenient and cheap if you can't deal with people and their problems and their dirtiness or whatever I would not suggest a move into him but if you can deal with other people's stuff then it's a good place to live especially if you're a student it's a really cheap place Live.Management is great they always work with me always. Maintenance is pretty good too. Honestly it's probably better if you know your roommates and you all collaborate together because if you don't get along with your Roommates would really make it difficult to enjoy your life.

Come on over and stay at the Rapids, where staff is friendly, and warm. Not to mention the places are great and warm to be at. The maintenance is bright on top of things so they're really great. If you're looking for something to call, a temporary or permanent home, come on over to the Rapids and I promise you you'll find a great place to stay.

I highly suggest NEVER moving into these apartments! To start, the apartments are pretty much made of paper, you can hear everything above, below and around you. We had black mold in our bathroom multiple times which maintenance did hardly anything about. The entire time we were here we had terrible neighbors. They would scream at each other every single week, and when the office was contacted they told us they couldn’t do anything and to call dispatch. Also the last week we were here we had a neighbor screaming threats, and trying to intimidate my roommate and I by staring us down while we entered our apartment. You do not have air conditioning and the apartment seems to trap heat, it will feel like 90° inside and the thermostat does nothing. Also the laundry room was always a disgusting mess and the washers and dryers never worked. On top of that, there were multiple homeless people living in the laundry room full time. We also had fleas come through the vents or possibly the door, which was ill-fitting to the frame, after overhearing others in the basement talking about having fleas. We also had fruit flies and centipedes multiple times while being here. Every single week I went into the office to print papers for school, and always overheard the manager talking bad about tenants and complaining. I really loved Ashley but she was the only helpful person who works here. Stephanie was rude every single time that I had a conversation with her, and not to mention she parks in the one handicap spot despite not having a marked vehicle. Overall, this apartment and management was the absolute worst, and I don’t recommend moving here ever!
