Casas del Rio, albuquerque-nm

I lived here for 3 out of my 4 years of college and it was complete hell. The rent is completely overpriced and all amenities are always broken. The community fridge worked for a good 3 months during my whole time living there. During a winter break the first floor flooded and we were never notified, we had to come back to our room with industrial fans everywhere, holes in our roof, and our stuff moved all over the place. While trying to get in contact with someone who could help clear up things you are met with very rude people answering the phone. The only good thing about this place was their maintenance team, they were always so kind, communicated well, and fixed things. I would never recommend this place to anyone especially when there are better options close to campus. There are horror stories everyone so make sure you do your research before living here.

Jackie at Casas del Rio was amazing to work with! She was super friendly, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we felt confident about everything. She really took the time to clear up any doubts we had and made the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend working with her!

I would not get a dorm at this facility the washers and dyers were constantly broken. Casa does nothing about complaints with room mates. The deposit they charge is non refundable. I have already talked to management about my complaints and all I got was O I sorry nothing we can do.

There's only one entry door for all the Casas building, which is highly inconvenient. Residents are using rocks to hold the doors open, which is way more dangerous than having multiple entry doors. If there are dedicated key fobs on the outside doors, why disable them for "security purposes". An intruder or thief could simply wait for a resident to put a rock between the door and gain entry. Front office staff doesn't know what they're doing half the time, and I've told them multiple times to stop sending me package reminder emails, but I still receive them even though I do not have a mail system setup with Casas. I've lived in Jemez and Gila, and both elevators would constantly have issues, the same goes with the washer and dryers. In both buildings I've had plumbing issues in which the shower and sink do not drain, which is absolutely disgusting when you live with other roommates. Not worth the money, and it takes weeks for maintenance to solve common issues.

The RA’s at Casa del Rio absolutely rock! Huge shout out to Logan, Emmarose, and Kiara! Each of you gave a great tour and really showcased the amenities of Casa del Rio! All questions were answered articulately, and any concerns were addressed immediately! Thank you so much for providing such quality service!
