I am extremely happy with my experience at Chambers 51. The team has been incredibly understanding, responsive, and efficient throughout my stay. They were able to arrange a room for me on the very same day, which was a huge relief during what could have been a very stressful time. The entire process was smooth and completely stress-free, and I truly appreciated how supportive and helpful they were when I needed it most. The internet is fast and reliable, the laundry facilities are convenient and easy to use, and the social spaces create a great environment to relax and meet other students. What stands out the most is how quickly they deal with any issues—whenever something comes up, it’s resolved promptly with a very fast response time. I am very grateful for their kindness and professionalism, and I would highly recommend Chambers 51 to any student looking for safe, supportive, and well-equipped accommodation.

The alarm has been ringing for AN ENTIRE HOUR!!!! This is soooooo ridiculous. No explanation or apology. It is 4 AM. This obviously woke up so many tenants and naturally everyone was frustrated. But to make matters worse, the building manager BELLA decided to scream at everyone on the phone rather than apologising for this massive inconvenience. How dreadful. Bella you should be ashamed of yourself. You are asleep in the comfort of your own room while your tenants are forced to endure this constant painful noise for how long and then you have the audacity to scream at everyone. There were multiple witnesses to this phone call and your complete disregard and disrespect. I will never live in this place again simply because of Bella. The other lady at the desk is very nice and there haven’t been any problems with her. Bella on the other hand is super disrespectful and the way she yelled at everyone on the phone tonight was just a perfect example of her low character.

Really enjoyed living here and looking forward to staying in to the new year. All the members of Staff like Bella has been an amazing person. She has been there for me from my viewing to my moving in to now and has gone above and beyond not just for me but to all the Students that live here. She has a heart of Gold highly recommend to come meet her and her team

I’ve had a great time so far living at Chambers 51 as the staff are lovey. Bella and I chat quite often and she’s always helpful when it comes to talking about rebooking or about my flat ect. The maintaince man Adam is equally friendly and gets things sorted as and when he can, always making me laugh when he stops for a chat. The problems in this building are nothing to do with the staff, but they have put their all into making it work. For example, for weeks the bins were not being taken by the bin men despite being paid for and so there were a lot of flies. Adam and a couple other residents who volunteered, cleared away the flies and the rubbish. As of now, there are no flies as the bins are being regularly taken and cleaned. I will be rebooking, I really don’t have any problems! There are a few maintenance problems that are out of the staffs hands as it’s down the landlord to sort it from there, but if you’re a patient person who listens… you’ll love it here.

If you value your mental health , DO NOT STAY HERE , HIGHLY AVOID. The building has a dirty fly infestation due to the building hoarding bins as well as fat rats outside the bins. There are also dead flies as well as fruit flies everywhere that nobody has bothered to get rid of. The fruit flies especially live in the lift so everytime you would like to leave the building , you have to be ready to fight with at least 12+ flies. The building smells and has an extremely funky odour which only gets worse as you work down the floors. Reception is extremely rude and unhelpful , especially the middle aged blonde woman who a multitude of residents have complained about , she’s dismissive , belligerent and acts like you reporting an issue or trying to get help is a waste of her time and quite frankly is a bully. I’ve only ever seen her help the delivery people when she orders food , not the residents. Security do not secure anything , they sit in reception on their phones after hours but when you have an issue they take an hour to get to you from reception… Following on , every resident that I am friends with has had multiple as well as ongoing issues within their rooms. The Wi-Fi barely works. The rooms are also not what is advertised , the whole building and facilities are just run down and frankly , Student Clubhouse is better and I wish I booked in there than the disappointment that Chambers is. Don’t do it to yourself.
